Week 15 IDP Playoff Waiver Wire Pickups

With this in mind I only have three IDP players worth picking up if you need a desperate DL, LB or DB to start for the coming weeks’ contest.

Defensive Lineman

DT Sione Pouha @ Steelers: The Jets front lineman had a decent start to the season and got some respect at the defensive tackle position for IDP purposes. Throughout the middle of the year Pouha wasn’t a great fit, but he’s comeback strong in the past two games. With the Jets struggling on offense, the defense has been on the field more often. Look for the Steelers to pound the football with Rashard Mendenhall this week and Pouha should produce good numbers.

Kamerion Wimbley vs Broncos: The Raiders have been playing some good football of late and Kamerion Wimbley has been in the mix. The last time Oakland played Denver, Wimbley picked up a sack as they rolled to a big win. Look for Wimbley to post a sack or two in this game as Kyle Orton is struggling badly, and they team may turn to rookie Tim Tebow at some point.

Defensive Back

CB Jacob Lacey vs Jaguars: The Jaguars’ defense was exposed by the Raiders last week and Peyton Manning should be able to hurt them. Assuming the Colts can score early, David Garrard will be forced to throw more than usual and that means Jacob Lacey will continue to produce. Only pickup Lacey if you’re in great need of bottom line production at the corner back position.
