First Baseman 2011 Projected Stats

The 2011 MLB fantasy baseball season is getting closer, and it’s time to start looking at projected stats for your favorite first baseman prospects. Below you will see that we have projected stats for mixed league first baseman in categories of at bats, home runs, runs batted in, runs scored, stolen bases and batting average.

Joey Votto was a popular sleeper to breakout big time last season and did he ever as he ended the season as the National League MVP. While Votto should be a clear first round pick in mixed leagues, Albert Pujols and Miguel Cabrera are the first players you should select from this position.

Look for Kendry Morales to have a big bounce back season as his ADP value is down because of a broken leg that ended his season in June. Now, Morales has recovered from is freak home plate celebration and is ready to play a full season.

Another first baseman that should return to his former great play is Twins former MVP Justin Morneau. Minnesota’s big slugger is expected to return to full action by spring training after a concussion in July ended his season.

All in all, this is another great class of first baseman to choose from as this position, once again, has some of the more fruitful projected stats you can buy.
