Starting Pitchers Projected Stats NL Only

It’s time to get ready for your NL only fantasy baseball draft and below you will find 2011 projected stats for a few starting pitchers we’ve selected. While we feel these are the top starting pitchers to go after at your draft, they certainly aren’t all the eligible options at this position.

Look to the Phillies and Giants as teams with great starting pitching staffs this season. The main difference between the two is that Phillies have a great hitting lineup and will provide strong run support for Roy Halladay, Cliff Lee, Roy Oswalt and Cole Hamels.

While the Giants don’t have a great runs support, they do play in a pitchers park so that helps them when it comes to ERA on the season. Another team that should have a solid staff once again is the Cardinals as Jamie Garcia should be ready to take another step in his career.

The Reds young staff had a decent season last year but maybe even better in 2011. Edinson Volquez will be back for a full season in 2011 and is at full strength from his previous injury back in 2009. Look to the Brewers as a sleeper rotation as Yovani Gallardo, Zack Greinke and Shaun Marcum should all have respectable seasons.
