2011 Cornerback Free Agents
Namdi Asomugha leads the pack of free agents for 2011 as it appears the Raiders are going to let him walk without tagging rights to him. Oakland went ahead and re-signed Stanford Routt to a three year deal towards the end of February instead of Asomugha.
While Asomugha may not put up a tone of stats, there is a reason for it as opposing offenses don’t want to throw the football his way. Look for Asomugha to command a tone of money when he signs a new deal at some point this off-season.
