Brian Roberts should be a bounce back player for fantasy baseball this season as the Orioles have a solid lineup. Don’t be surprised if Roberts scores over 100 runs this season if he can play in only 130 games. With veteran experience, and budding talents like Adam Jones and Matt Wieters, this team will put runs on the board.
Chone Figgins would be higher than our eleventh overall second baseman if he was on a better offense. Unlike Roberts, Figgins will struggle to score runs as the Mariners have one of the worst three, four, five hitters in baseball.
Sean Rodriguez of the Rays could be a sleeper worth paying attention too as Tampa Bay is in a development year. With Johnny Damon and Manny Ramirez coming to the team, Rodriguez has a better chance to be production for your squad.
Another second baseman that is primed for a big season is former MVP Dustin Pedroia as his foot is healed up. The Red Sox have a modern day murderers row hitting behind Pedroia, and he will score a tone of runs this season. Pedroia should also post over 20 home runs as opposing pitchers will be force to throw him better pitches, before the face his fellow compadres.
