Cardinals Needs Heading Into Draft
QB, OG, OT, OLB, CB
Selections
1 round, 5th pick – CB Patrick Peterson
Personally, my hart is broken as I was hoping the 49ers would get Patrick Peterson with the seventh overall pick. Seeing the 49ers rivals take Peterson is a killer but this is probably the best pick for them. This is a great player to take but the Cardinals are desperate for a quarterback and offensive line help.
Fantasy – Instant IDP star, this guy is going to be good.
Second Round
37. Running Backs Ryan Williams
Well this should mark the end of the Beanie Wells experiment as the teams possible feature back after they took him in the first round, two years ago. Ryan Williams is a decent running back but I feel the Cardinals are doing nothing to address their most important needs. Don’t expect this team to go back to the playoffs in 2011.
69. Tight End Rob Housler
I don’t like the Cardinals draft to this point but at least they have a pass catching tight end on the team now. Who’s going to throw the football? How are they going to stop the run? Give me a break!
103. Outside Linebacker Sam Acho
136. Running Back Anthony Sherman
171. Linebacker Quan Sturdivant
184. Defensive Tackle David Carter
249. Wide Receiver Demarco Sampson
