Selections
1st round, 9th pick: Dallas Cowboys Select: Tackle Tyron Smith
Would’ve been nice to see the Cowboys go with a corner but they need help on the offensive line and Tyron Smith was graded out as one of the top lineman to take. Tony Romo needs all the help he can get as injury was a problem for him in 2010. This is a big pick for the Cowboys and it needs to pay off for this team to get back into the playoffs.
Overall Draft Grade: B
Second Round
40. Linebacker Bruce Carter
Ok pick as the Cowboys need to get some youth in the linebackers area but I would have like to of seen them get secondary help with this pick.
71. Running Back DeMarco Murray
Marion Barber is gone from this team when the league gets started again and DeMarco Murray will play behind Tashard Choice and Felix Jones.
110. Offensive Lineman David Arkin
143. Defensive Back Josh Thomas
176. Wide Receiver Dwayne Harris
220. Running Back Shaun Chapas
252. Center Bill Nagy
