Selections
1 round, 2nd pick Denver Broncos Select: LB Von Miller
I’m concerned about Von Miller’s size for the run but this is a good selection to improve the defense overall. The Broncos still need help up front but Miller should be a impact player right away.
Fantasy – This should be an impact IDP option right away. Probably a better player in big play IDP leagues but he will be draft worthy this season.
Overall Draft Grade: B+
Second Round
45. Safety Rahim Moore
Will be interesting to see how Rahim Moore holds up against the run in a run heavy division but he will be solid in the passing game.
46. Offensive Lineman Orlando Franklin
The Broncos needed some physical help on the front line and Orlando Franklin is going to help Knowshon Moreno find bigger holes in the running game. Not a bad pick for the Broncos but they have some work to do in free agency to stop the run. Coach John Fox failed to find defense to stop the run in Carolina and the same problem isn’t being addressed with the Broncos.
67. Linebacker Nate Irving
More linebacker help when they need help up front. This is not a good job by coach John Fox. Another team he’s failed to improve against the run.
108. Defensive Back Quinton Carter
129. Tight End Julius Thomas
189. Linebacker Mike Mohamed
204. Tight End Virgil Green
247. Defensive Lineman Jeremy Beal
