Selections

13. Detroit Lions Select: DT Nick Fairley

Wow!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Great pick and now the Lions have one of the top front lines in all of football for the next five to ten years. This is going to be a much talked about front line this summer. They need help at corner in a big way but you won’t do much in the running game against them, and they will pressure the quarterback.

I thought Fairley should have been one of the top five pick and will make an impact with this team right away.

Draft Grade: A

44. Wide Receiver Titus Young

Wow, another interesting pick that I like from the Lions in wide receiver Titus Young. Loved Young with Boise State and he will help take some pressure off Calvin Johnson and give Matthew Stafford another weapon. This team still needs a tone of help in the secondary but Young will make an impact.

57. Running Back Mikel Leshoure

This is a bad pick for Jahvid Best’s fantasy value as Mikel Leshoure is a threat for goaline touches and will take carries away from Best. This is a good pick for the Lions overall though as they now has a deep running game and have added some solid talent.

157. Linebacker Douglas Hogue

209. Offensive Lineman Johnny Culbreath
