Vikings Draft Needs
QB, DE, DT, OLB, OG, OT, C
Selection
12. Minnesota Vikings Select:QB Christian Ponder
What the hell is this? Don’t get me wrong I liked Christian Ponder coming into the draft but as a second round at best. This kid needs some time (all QB do) and at 12 overall they have over drafted him to say the least. This is not the type of talent I would take this high and pay him this kind of money.
Draft Grade: D-(Way To High, Trade Down)
Second Round
43. Tight End Kyle Rudolph
Well, tight end Kyle Rudolph will help this offense but I would have liked to see the Vikings add offensive line help or some defensive help with this pick. Still, Rudolph is a quality pick and will help right away.
106. Defensive Lineman Christian Ballard
139. Defensive Back Brandon Burton
168. Offensive Lineman Demarcus Love
170. Defensive Back Mistral Raymond
172. Offensive Lineman Brandon Fusco
200. Linembacker Ross Homan
215. Defensive Lineman D’Aundre Reed
236. Wide Receiver Stephen Burton
