Week 5 Hitter Rankings
This was a big season for Jose Bautista as he needed to show us all that last year was no fluke, and so far he’s one of the best hitters for fantasy baseball, once again. Bautista is for real and his power should be legit for years to come as the Blue Jays play in an offensive ball park and opposing pitchers continue to challenge him.
Another hitter who is proving his worth is Indians young catcher Carlos Santana and his walk off grand slam, last week, only adds to projected stardom that he was expected to bring to this team. With top end catchers like Joe Mauer and Victor Martinez struggling with injury, it is youngsters like Santana and Buster Posey that are moving up the list of star fantasy catchers in the present and future.
Take a look at some of the trending up and down hitters as we get into the second month of the fantasy baseball season.
