Two Start Pitchers Week 12

You wouldn’t think one of the top pitchers in the league this year would be having an up and down season but that has been the case for Jered Weaver of the Angels. In the first month of the season Weaver won his first six starts and then followed that up with failing to win a game in May as he dropped four games. Thus far, in June, Weaver is back on a tear as he had two wins and has looked great in each outing.

Coming into week twelve Weaver will get a chance to pickup a couple more wins against the Marlins and Dodgers on the road. Thankfully, the Marlins are in a huge slump as they’ve been a tough lineup to handle most of the season so both games are possibly victories if Weaver continues to stay on top of his game.

Speaking of top pitchers in the league, Roy Halladay is a projected two start pitcher this week as he will face the Cardinals on the road and go back home against the A’s. The second matchup should be a dominating performance but playing the Cardinals in St. Louis can be a challenge for even the best pitchers in baseball.
