Pat Chung went crazy the last time he played in Miami and while he’s unlikely to have the success he had on Monday Night (watch video) he’s still going to be a dominate top five defensive back this year. Head Coach Bill Belichick has had nothing to say but positive things about Chung and that is saying a lot when you consider that Belichick isn’t known for verbalizing much to the media.

Landry May Not Play

If you took LaRon Landry you should have known what you were getting into, as his health status will likely be up in the air weekly. If you have him it is advisable that you grab Reed Doughty as depth because Doughty should have success with the Redskins thin at the safety position.

O.J. Atogwe should have a nice year at free safety with the Redskins as he’s already looked impressive in the preseason.

Big Year From George Wilson

We watched strong safety George Wilson have a strong finish to the 2009 season for the Bills and I expect him to be a great DB-2 this year. Donte Whitner had a high volume of tackles at his position last year, and because Wilson has had success already in this defense, he should be a lock for over 100 if he plays a full sixteen games.
