Week 2 – IDP – DL Rankings

Well, that was one heck of a start for Terrell Suggs against the Steelers and it didn’t seem to matter if you had him starting as a defensive linemen or a linebacker, the dude just dropped the sizzle shake on Big Ben all day. Coming into week two I have Suggs ranked as the top linemen on our list as he gets another tasty matchup against the Titans and immobile Matt Hasselbeck. Look for Suggs to steam up the Titans home field with a few dance moves as he makes IDP fantasy owners smile, once again.

Jason Pierre-Paul vs Rams: I’ve been talking about Jason Pierre-Paul since before the lockout ended as a breakout star this year. JPP is a beast, and he’s ready to be a top five stud when he gets a chance to start. This week he gets the Rams, and while Steve Spagnoulo runs this defense in St. Louis, he won’t contain this beast for at least one sack if not two or even three. This could be a breakout game on Monday Night Football and as long as JPP is hot, the Giants won’t be in a mad rush to move Osi back in the starting lineup.

Jason Babin @ Falcons: Right off the bat Jason Babin proves that he’s ready to make an impact with two sacks against the Rams, week one. The Falcons will likely get into a shoot-out with the Eagles, and that means more opportunities for Babin.

Please Note – After injuring his shoulder on Monday night, I have moved Elvis Dumervil out of the top ten, as he’s likely to miss time as a three down option. Let’s hope he gets more playing time this week, but it’s likely he will need some time before the shoulder allows him to take on a normal workload.
