One of the big showdowns in fantasy football this week will be in New England as Tom Brady and Philip Rivers will play on the same field. Rivers had a nice start to the season against the Vikings as the Chargers picked up a much-needed victory to start the season.

As for Brady, he should have much better numbers than what Donovan McNabb posted last week as he failed to reach 40 yards through the air. Both quarterbacks check in as top five quarterbacks this week.

Tony Romo Vs. 49ers

You can knock Tony Romo for his poor decisions at the end of the game against the Jets, but when it comes to fantasy football, the guy threw for 342 yards against one of the better secondaries in football. This will be a big game for Romo on the stat sheet as he takes on a weak 49ers secondary.

Kevin Kolb Vs. Redskins

The Cardinals passing game was much improved with Kevin Kolb under center and they should have another strong game against the Redskins. Look for Larry Fitzgerald to be more active in this one but Kolb is starting to show that he is capable of getting the football spread around to more than a few options.

Eli Manning Vs. Rams

While Eli Manning started out solid against the Redskins, his numbers took a nose dive in the second half, and the concern continues to grow about Manning and the Giants overall. Manning is still a worthy back in fantasy leagues, but I would like to see him have a better performance against the Rams on Monday night.
