Week 2 – RB Rankings

Ray Rice got off to a big start week one against the Steelers as he totaled 149 yards on the ground and two touchdowns. Those fantasy owners that paid attention to Rice as a possible first overall selection are looking good coming out of week one and he should have no problem finding success against the Titans in week two.

Michael Turner Vs. Eagles
The Falcons fell behind early against the Bears but Michael Turner still have 100 yards on only ten carries. This week Turner should take advantage of of the Eagles as they have an inexperienced linebacking core to go with new safeties. Steven Jackson only carried the football two times against them last week but posted a 47-yard touchdown, and this group even made Cadillac Williams look respectable.
Jahvid Best Vs. Chiefs
While I’m disappointed in Jahvid Best’s yards per carry average against the Buccaneers, he should have a better game against the Chiefs. With Matthew Stafford and Calvin Johnson striking fear into defenses against the threat of the deep passing game, it should open up running lanes for Best on the ground.
Chris Johnson Vs. Ravens
As long as Chris Johnson doesn’t have an injury this coming week against the Ravens, he should get back to his former self in week three. This week, Johnson would have been in trouble against the Ravens even if he was conditioned, but it’s clear he still needs another week to get his legs ready to go. If you have solid depth on your roster it might be a good idea to sit Johnson this week.
Please Note - It looks like the Texans are going to use an RBBC in Foster’s first game back with the team, so I’ve down graded Foster to a flex option at best.
Notable Injuries
Arian Foster (Hammy), Steven Jackson (Quad), Derrick Ward (Ankle), Mike Tolbert (Knee),Knowshon Moreno (hammy),
