LaRon Landry @ Rams - 

We all know how good LaRon Landry was before his Achilles injury cost him the final month and a half of the 2010 season. Landry missed the first two games of the year, but was back in action against the Cowboys. I’m sure IDP owners with Landry were salivating at watching him blow up Cowboy receivers and his explosion off the edge when he rushed the passer.

It’s time to get Landry in your lineups, and while it will probably take him a couple of weeks to get back to his full dominant play, he’s too talented to leave on your bench.

Kam Chanceller vs Falcons –

One of my sleepers this summer, Kam Chancellor is off to a solid start to the season, and he should continue his productive ways as the Falcons come to town. The Seahawks defense will be on the field often this year, and with Seattle front line play well against the run, teams are taking to the air to with success. This isn’t a horrible defense, but they’ve struggled at linebacker as David Hawthorne is coming back from an injury, so expect Chancellor to clean up missed opportunities from fellow teammates.

Pat Chung @ Raiders –

Keep an eye on Pat Chung’s health as thumb surgery held him out of the Patriots game against the Bills last week. Chung is still worth a DB-2 play if he’s on the field, although his thumb issue may limit his big play upside. This will be an afternoon game, so if you have to choose between Chung and a player in the morning, I would suggest you go with the sure thing so that you’re guaranteed production.

Glover Quin vs Steelers –

The Texans converted Glover Quin from a cornerback over to a safety this summer, and thus far it looks like Quin’s transition is a success. Quin is a fringe option to use as a starter right now, but he’s worth at least holding on your depth chart as we get started with bye weeks soon.
