Osi Umenyiora vs Seahawks - 

So much for coming back slow as Osi Umenyiora posted two sacks and a forced fumble in limited snaps. Justin Tuck remains a question mark, but even if he plays, look to Umenyiora as at least a DL-2 play this week against the Seahawks. Last week Seattle failed to give up a sack to the Falcons but remember that Atlanta has failed to post a sack since their five against Jay Cutler, week one. This will be a different story, as Seattle is a horrible road team, and Umenyiora, JPP and Tuck are three of the top pass rushers in all of football.

Will Smith @ Panthers –

After missing the first two games of the year, Will Smith is on a rampage as he picked up two sacks against the Jaguars. It’s amazing how some players consistently have one big year, then fall off the map, only to come back the next year to have a big year and then fall of the map again. If you track Smith’s career, he’s due for a big year in 2011, and the way New Orleans is coming along on defense, I expect Smith to continue to play at a high level.

Rookie Cam Newton tends to do a good job of feeling the rush and making plays with his legs, but Smith should have some opportunities in this game, and I expect him to post sound numbers.
