Week 7 IDP – DL Rankings
Elvis Dumervil @ Dolphins -
Expectations were high for Elvis Dumervil as the Broncos were set to move back to a 4-3 defensive scheme which meant the veteran would move back to defensive end. In his first quarter of action this season, Dumervil suffered a shoulder injury against the Raiders, and his snaps and play haven’t been up to standards.
Look for Dumervil to get things going this week in Miami as he will get plenty of opportunities to punish Matt Moore. Dumervil should be back to his normal workload, previous to the ailments that have held him back for over a year now, and he might be sitting out on your waiver wire this week.
James Hall @ Cowboys –
Only one sack on the year and playing for a bad team, James Hall hasn’t been the same producer he was in 2010 when St. Louis was fighting for a division title. Still, Hall has posted respectable tackle numbers in recent weeks, and he should continue to play productive against the Cowboys and Saints in coming weeks.
Hall is always a threat for sacks in the Rams defensive scheme, but his tackle numbers should make him at least worth a DL-3 play when the Rams fall behind early.
