Chris Clemons vs Bengals - 

Last year Chris Clemons seemingly broke out of nowhere as he was basically an irrelevant defensive linemen for IDP fantasy until he won a starting job with the Seahawks. Sure, Clemons did have eight sacks with the Raiders back in 2007, but he was basically used one passing downs and totaled a mire 20 tackles on the season.

Not only did Clemons post a career high eleven sacks last year, but as a starter, he compiled 48 tackles as well. This year Clemons is proving that last year was no fluke as he already has six sacks on the year, and twenty tackles. Look to Clemons as a must play this week as he’s fresh off back to back multi-sack performances and gets rookie Andy Dalton in Seattle this week.

Justin Smith vs Browns –

The 49ers are finally playing up to the potential many felt they had a year ago, but defensive end Justin Smith has been just as good as always. Country strong, Smith hasn’t missed a game or a start since his rookie year in 2001 and hits hard to believe the Bengals ever let this guy get away, years ago.

Finally on a playoff caliber team again, Smith should have a reasonable chance for double digit sacks this year, and a game against Colt McCoy this week should help him improve on his four and half sacks thus far.
