Week 11 – QB Rankings

Jay Cutler vs. Chargers -
While Jay Cutler has been playing well of late, his numbers in the stat box haven’t been what you would expect from a quarterback that showed so much promise for fantasy in his time with Denver. As we all know, the Bears offensive line for pass protection can be suspect, and Cutler’s receiving core remains as one of the worst in football. Still, if you’re looking for a quarterback to start this week with stars like Drew Brees and Ben Roethlisberger out, if Cutler a shot against a weak Chargers secondary. Top corner back Quentin Jammer has been good this year, but San Diego has been torched on the other side of the field, with a rotation between Antoine Cason and rookie Marcus Gilchrest.
Last week, Carson Palmer only attempted 20 passes but torched the Chargers for 299 yards passing and two touchdowns. While the Bears should win this game, and are playing great in all phases, look for Philip Rivers and company to keep the game competitive as they have a much more balanced attack than the Lions a week ago. Cutler should be good for over 250 yards passing and a couple touchdowns in this game.
Joe Flacco vs. Bengals –
With Bengals top corner back Leon Hall done for the season because a torn Achilles last week, Joe Flacco is a sneaky play this week. My main concerns for Flacco is the up and down play of the Ravens weekly, and that they may try to re-establish the running game after getting away in a loss to the Seahawks last week.
Throwing against the likes of Nate Clements and Pacman Jones, Flacco should have opportunities to make big plays throughout the game.
