Brandon Flowers vs Dolphins - 

Maybe the Dolphins won’t put the football up in the air like the Chargers did last week, and it’s likely that Matt Moore won’t play as bad as the Raiders quarterbacks two weeks ago, but Brandon Flowers is hot. Two weeks ago Flowers posted two interceptions and a touchdown only to follow it up with four solo tackles and four pass deflections against the last week.

One thing I do know is that the Dolphins love to throw the football to Brandon Marshall, and it’s likely that Flowers will be up against him. Flowers is a physical corner that can be beaten down the field as we saw when he was torched for a long touchdown against Pierre Garcon week four in Indianapolis.

For IDP purposes, that’s not the worst thing in the world because if Flowers was too good, opposing quarterbacks would stay away from his side of the field, much like Darrelle Revis or Nnamdi Asomugha. One area that Flowers has been consistent in is his ability for pass deflections as he is usually good for over 20 (15 already this year) of them in a season. With teams testing him of late, I like Flowers as at least a DB-3 play.
