Week 14 IDP – DB Rankings
Kurt Coleman @ Dolphins -
In what has been a roller-coaster ride in the Eagles backfield has finally had some stability from Kurt Coleman as an every week starter after the team ditched on Jarrad Page. Coleman has been on fire over the past month as he’s totaled at least eleven total tackles in four of his last five games.
Just a week ago Tyvon Branch had only marginal success against the Dolphins, but I feel things will play out a little different in this contest as the Eagles should put up a better fight, but presenting some mismatch problems to Miami’s defense with Michael Vick back and the shifty LeSean McCoy in the backfield.
Not matter the outcome for Coleman, as long as he’s healthy, he will continue to be a starter for the Eagles and he should be viewed as a must start DB-1 down the stretch.
Da’Norris Searcy @ Chargers –
You may have noticed that Da’Norris Searcy was off my rankings last week, and that is because I thought George Wilson was ready to return from his injury. That didn’t happen and Searcy had a bounce back performance against the Titans last week. The strong safety starter has been great in recent years out of Buffalo, and Searcy is just the next option to be considered a DB-1 play, as the Bills love to use their strong safety down in the box to support the run game.
