Week 3 PPR RB Rankings

Because of an early turnaround on Thursday night, both Jonathan Stewart and Ahmad Bradshaw are possible scratches. Last week Packers star receiver Greg Jennings fell victim to a short week, but if the running backs are down, they will have a week and a half to get ready for the teams next game.
Ultimately that extra time makes it tempting for any coach to hold a player out, especially at this point in the season. The last thing you want to do is risk further injury to a key player, so if you decide to have Stewart in your lineup, make sure he’s a go before kickoff.
Redman vs Dwyer
The Steelers running backs have an attractive matchup against the Raiders this week. Of the two I would go with Redman if you’re in need of a desperation play at running back because he scored the touchdown last week. Both will likely split time, but if Redman can put together a full week of practice perhaps he will start to outwork Dwyer in the offense.
Pittsburgh faithful had high hopes for Redman before his injuries at the start of the preseason but for now, if you can avoid using him it would be for the best. Until someone clearly steps up as the starter, this will be a committee situation all year.
