Week 4 K Rankings

The Patriots have their problems on offense, and that means we should expect Stephen Gostkowski to continue with his three plus field-goal attempts per game. Leg strength hasn’t been a problem as Gostkowski has already matched his career long of 53-yards this season.
What Did We Learn From Week Three?
– Perhaps all is not lost for Rob Bironas as the Titans bounced back in a big way at home. Bironas had three field goals on the day, but it could’ve been better than that as he missed on two other opportunities. Don’t expect that to be the norm as Bironas has proven over the years, missing no more than three attempts in each of the past two seasons.
Perhaps we should hold off from picking him up this week (likely dropped in many leagues after week two) but week five Tennessee plays the Vikings and the veteran would be a good play then.
Sean’s Week Four Watch List
– Jason Hanson owners should be routing for Matthew Stafford to play this week. With Stafford under center the Lions have struggled to find the end zone, making Hanson one of the more valuable fantasy options through three weeks.
If Shaun Hill starts, Hanson is still a worthy top five option, but don’t be surprised if Detroit starts converting more drives into touchdowns.
– While the Falcons built up a big lead early on the Chargers Matt Bryant failed to get a field-goal attempt. Through the first two weeks Bryant had six field goals, so let’s hope he gets back on track against the Panther, as Lawrence Tynes had a strong day against them last week.
