Week 8 IDP – DB Rankings
Photo By: Daniel Shirey / US PRESSWIRE
We should have a wild one in Denver as the Saints and Broncos matchup on Sunday night. The Broncos defensive backs benefited from big plays against the Chargers and this week Tracy Porter, Rahim Moore and Mike Adams all make the my defensive backs rankings. Just keep an eye on Porter’s availability before the game.
Champ Bailey is another option to roll the dice with but I’m sure Drew Brees like many quarterbacks will only go his way every so often.
Sean’s Week 8 Watch List
- Safeties are having good success against the Patriots and that means both Quintin Mikell and Craig Dahl are respectable plays as the Rams head out to England.
- Ok, Charles Tillman didn’t have a touchdown for the third game in a row, but he made up for it with two forced fumbles and seven solo tackles. Corners haven’t had terrific success against the Panthers this year, but who cares, Tillman has been one of the elite corners for IDP leagues in recent seasons and his arguably off this his fastest start of his career.
- At this point we should just accept that no matter how old Antoine Winfield will be a solid CB1 to DB1 until the day he retires, if he continues to play in a Tampa-2 scheme. His problem in recent years is health, but as long as he’s on the field we need to keep him in the lineup.
