2013 Fantasy Outlook: Andre Brown

Fantasy Football Outlook: Brown received an opportunity to show what he could do with Ahmad Bradshaw battling foot problems and rookie David Wilson proving to the coaching staff he wasn’t ready for playing time, early on.
If something should happen to Wilson, we know Brown is a worthy RB2 in this offense but heading into training camp we should like Wilson’s odds to carry the football more than the veteran.
Brown will be in the mix in a committee however and he should be the goal line back after doing a terrific job in that area a year ago. The biggest problem for Brown is his career-long problems with injuries. This was a problem for Brown again last year and it sidelined him at times.
While Brown is fired up to have a big season, he will need to stay healthy and outplay Wilson to earn a respectable contract in free agency next year. For now, Brown is a hand cuff option to Wilson in redraft leagues, and worthy of stashing in touchdown heavy leagues and leagues with more than ten teams.
