2013 Fantasy Outlook: Brandon Myers

Fantasy Football Outlook: Coming off a breakout career year in his final season with the Raiders, Brandon Myers signed a one-year deal with the Giants during the spring. Eli Manning has a history of making unproven option at this position and turning them into fantasy relevant TE1 options.
Perhaps we will see last years 4th round pick Adrian Robinson start in New York next year, but for GM Jerry Reese seems to want him to be more of a blocking tight end and work on that area of his game.
That means Myers will be the go to tight end but we should expect him to catch 79 receptions like he did last year in Oakland. Then again, both Victor Cruz and Hakeem Nicks are looking for new contracts and if they should holdout, perhaps we will see Myers role expand.
Hard to say before training camp but I feel his 12th overall ranking in current ADP’s is fair for what we know Myers can give us and the situation he’s in.
