Fantasy Football Outlook: The Ravens drafted both Ed Dickson and Pitta back in 2010 and while Pitta was drafted after Dickson it was Pitta I liked better in the future. After the first two seasons it looked as though Dickson might end up as the better option.

Then 2012 came and Dickson took a step back while Pitta thrived emerging as one of Joe Flacco’s go to options. With Anquan Boldin gone, we could see Pitta lead the team in receptions (or possibly Ray Rice) because Torrey Smith has yet to develop into more than just a big-play threat.

It’s possible the Ravens will look to add a veteran receiver like Brandon Lloyd at some point but I’m sure they want to give their young receivers a long look. Pitta is a TE1 option in any scoring format and while I don’t expect him to jump up into the top five at this position, it’s more than possible and I wouldn’t be shocked if it happens, especially given the Ravens current situation.
