Stedman Bailey | St. Louis Rams | WR

2013 Experience: Rookie

Twitter News Team Schedule

Fantasy Football Outlook: Bailey will join his fellow West Virgina teammate Tavon Austin in St.Louis and could win a starting job on the outside by week one. Bailey will have to beat out Brian Quick and I like his odds to do so.

That said, because it’s a rookie, it only takes a minor injury during training camp to derail those expectations because he will need all the practice and preseason reps he can get to win that job. While I’m not a fan of Quick, he does have a year under his belt in the Rams program and will probably have the edge because of his experience, albeit limited in game action.

In a few years I wouldn’t be surprised if Bailey and Austin are the top go to options for Sam Bradford in this offense, but even if Bailey wins a job this year he’s best left on waiver wires in 12 team leagues.

The Rams will throw the football often this year, but Bailey will compete with Austin, Chris Givens and Jared Cook for receptions and he will probably be the third or fourth read most of the time.
