2013 Fantasy Football Cheat Sheet
Who can blame Larry Fitzgerald if he held his head down at times in what must have been the hardest season of his football career, as the Cardinals embarrassing quarterback play to a new level. The offensive line couldn’t protect and it appears as though Coach Ken Whisenhunt did a good job of leaving his quarterbacks out on the field without throwing them a life preserver from safe ground.
Whisenhunt is gone and with Bruce Ariens in town Fitzgerald will return to the top ten at receiver. Arizona still has concerns on the offensive line and if there is an Achilles heel to my comeback projections for Ftizgerald we would point to his area of the team.
Still, adding Ariens we should see Fitzgerald moved around the offense and that will help him find possible holes in the defense. Adding Carson Palmer from Oakland is a big upgrade over Kevin Kolb and John Skelton and I have no doubt he will target his star receiver often.
Add it up and I like Fitzgerald for the first time to play at a top ten level and have no problem landing him in the third round of fantasy drafts. I wouldn’t recommend you reach for him in the second round because we have some other talented receivers in better situations, but Fitgerald would make for a fine WR1 this year.
