<p><script src="http://cdn.pis.picapp.com/IamProd/PicAppPIS/JavaScript/PisV4.js" type="text/javascript"></script>Another Thanksgiving and another team walks in and beats the pants off of the <a href="http://www.fantasy-info.com/search/label/*Lions">Detroit Lions</a>. Hopefully the NFL will give this game to another team soon as I&#8217;m more than tired of watching the Lions pathetic performance on Thanksgiving year after year.</p>
<p><span style="font-weight: bold; color: #339999;">Driver fly&#8217;s, Jennings Die&#8217;s</span></p>
<p>This offseason I had <a href="http://www.fantasy-info.com/search/label/Greg_Jennings">Greg Jennings</a> as the fifth best receiver for fantasy football coming into this year. I believed <a href="http://www.fantasy-info.com/search/label/Aaron_Rodgers">Aaron Rodgers</a> was ready to take another step in his career (which he has) and that would make Jennings one of the best receivers to have in fantasy.</p>
<p>Unfortunately, what I didn&#8217;t count on was the fact that Rodgers would be so good at finding his third, fourth and fifth option in his passing game.</p>
<p>Not only that but I didn&#8217;t count on the Packers placing strong emphasis on spreading the ball around to six or seven guys weekly.</p>
<div style="float: right; margin-left: 5px;"><a href="http://view.picapp.com/default.aspx?term=Packers&amp;iid=7140655" target="_blank"><img style="width: 257px; height: 181px;" src="http://cdn.picapp.com/ftp/Images/b/3/e/9/Green_Bay_Packers_a1a7.jpg?adImageId=7883657&amp;imageId=7140655" border="0" alt="Green Bay Packers v Detroit Lions" /></a></div>
<p><script src="http://cdn.pis.picapp.com/IamProd/PicAppPIS/JavaScript/PisV4.js" type="text/javascript"></script><br />
This miss evaluation has killed Jennings fantasy value and has disappointed (your&#8217;s truly) fantasy owners all yearlong. Too many weeks we see another receiver like <a href="http://www.fantasy-info.com/search/label/Donald_Driver">Donald Driver</a>, James Jones or another role player getting the touchdowns and not Jennings.</p>
<p>For the season Jennings has a measly three touchdown scores and that is just not going to cut it in fantasy for a No.1 receiver or a No.2 receiver on your fantasy team.</p>
<p>This week Driver had the big game as the Lions seemed content rolling a safety over to try and stop a three time pro bowl receiver. While that is probably the dumbest thing a team can do you can leave it to the sorry Lions to do just that.</p>
<p>Look for Jennings to continue to be a boom or bust player and usually on the bust side for the rest of the season.</p>
<p><span style="font-weight: bold; color: #3333ff;">Calvin Johnson Scores</span></p>
<p><a href="http://www.fantasy-info.com/search/label/Matthew_Stafford">Matthew Stafford</a> and <a href="http://www.fantasy-info.com/search/label/Calvin_Johnson">Calvin Johnson</a> weren&#8217;t expected to play in this game as late as Wednesday night. On Thursday both ended up playing and Johnson got an early touchdown score.</p>
<p>That was about the only positive thing this offense did for the entire game as Johnson was noticeably banged up for the entire game.</p>
<p>Look for Johnson and Stafford to come back much healthier next Sunday as they now have ten days to rest and get ready.</p>

By the end of the game, it would be the Buccaneers that had the last laugh as they defeated the Packers and scored 38 points.</p>
<p><span style="font-weight: bold; color: #009900;">Hey&#8230;What Happen?</span></p>
<p>This was supposed to be an easy win for the Packers and their defense was supposed to have one of the top scoring days (for fantasy football) on the week. Unfortunately, the Packers&#8217; defense can&#8217;t control bad special teams play and poor decisions by quarterback <a href="http://www.fantasy-info.com/search/label/Aaron_Rodgers">Aaron Rodgers</a>.</p>
<p>All too often the Packers&#8217; defense was stuck in bad situations against the Buccaneers offense and rookie quarterback <a href="http://www.fantasy-info.com/search/label/Josh_Freeman">Josh Freeman</a>.</p>
<p>As far as the Packers&#8217; offense is concerned, they really need to look at the game film and start getting on Rodgers for his wild play.</p>
<p><span style="font-weight: bold; color: #cc0000;">Josh Freeman Not So Bad</span></p>
<p>I suggested that fantasy owners go out and get the Packers&#8217; defense and start them this week. We all needed to see if Freeman was ready to play at a steady level for his team, and today he proved that.</p>
<p>I still believe this team will make for good matchups as we move along. One thing is for sure if you come into Tampa Bay just expecting that you will win the game, you&#8217;re in trouble.</p>

<p>This week <a href="http://www.fantasy-info.com/search/label/Ryan_Grant">Ryan Grant</a> won&#8217;t have that kind of success, but he should have one of his best games of the season. <p>Every week we will start off with our wounded warrior&#8217;s section. These are the key players that are on the injury report that you need to pay attention too before games begin.</p>
<p><span style="font-weight: bold; color: #990000;">Wounded Warriors</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: bold; color: #333399;">Quarterbacks</span></p>

When Rodgers was questioned about his foot, he said that in a few days he would be ok.</p>
<p>This is the same foot problem that has landed Rodgers on the injury report for the past few weeks. While this is a concern, Rodgers is slated to play this week and should produce well against the Buccaneers.</p>
<p><span style="font-weight: bold; font-style: italic; color: #3333ff;">Panthers- Jake Delhomme- </span>Delhomme had a good first half against the <a href="http://www.fantasy-info.com/search/label/*Cardinals">Cardinals</a> before he had to leave early because of a chest injury. The injury required that Delhomme go to the hospital and get tested.</p>
<p>On Monday Delhomme didn&#8217;t seem to suffer any major ill effects and looks to be a go week nine against the <a href="http://www.fantasy-info.com/search/label/*Saints">Saints</a>.</p>
<p><span style="font-weight: bold; color: #333399;">Running Backs</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: bold; font-style: italic; color: #339999;">Eagles- Brian Westbrook-</span> Philadelphia&#8217;s star running back is slated to practice on Wednesday after missing the <a href="http://www.fantasy-info.com/search/label/*Eagles">Eagles&#8217;</a> contest against the <a href="http://www.fantasy-info.com/search/label/*Giants">Giants</a>. While <a href="http://www.fantasy-info.com/search/label/Brian_Westbrook">Brian Westbrook</a> will practice, he will not engage in physical contact.</p>
<p>We will find out more by the week&#8217;s end if Westbrook will be a go for the Eagles tilt against the Cowboys.</p>
<p><span style="font-weight: bold; color: #333399;">Wide Receivers</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: bold; color: #3333ff; font-style: italic;">Lions- Calvin Johnson-</span><span style="color: #3333ff;"> </span>Megatron practice on Thursday and Friday in limited fashion last week. At one point John Clayton of ESPN thought Johnson would be a go against the <a href="http://www.fantasy-info.com/search/label/*Rams">Rams</a> this past Sunday.</p>
<p>As it turned out the Lions kept Johnson out of the lineup, and hopefully he will have a better week of practice this coming week. If he can practice all week than I would expect him to play this coming week in Seattle.</p>
<p><span style="font-weight: bold; color: #990000; font-style: italic;">Cardinals- Anquan Boldin-</span> One of the biggest problems with having Anquan Boldin on your fantasy team is that he is injury prone. This season Boldin has failed to stay healthy for the entire year and his production has suffered on the field.</p>
<p>Boldin&#8217;s continued ankle issue has led his head coach to consider sitting him down for this coming week against the Bears. If he does, in fact, not play than Steve Breaston will get the start.</p>
<p><span style="font-weight: bold; color: #663366;">Tight Ends</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: bold; font-style: italic; color: #990000;">Texans- Owen Daniels- </span>The Texans suffered a major blow to their offense when they lost tight end Owen Daniels for the season this past weekend. Daniels tore his acl and is done for the season.</p>
<p>Look for the Texans to use receiver Kevin Walter and Jacoby Jones more often as they need them to step up their production.</p>
<p><span style="font-weight: bold; color: #333399;">Quarterbacks</span></p>

<p><script src="http://cdn.pis.picapp.com/IamProd/PicAppPIS/JavaScript/PisV4.js" type="text/javascript"></script>After all the hoopla and fan fair before this big contest, the <a href="http://www.fantasy-info.com/search/label/*Vikings">Vikings</a> and <a href="http://www.fantasy-info.com/search/label/*Packers">Packers</a> faced off between the lines. Many thought that the Packers would give the Vikings a strong game as they were playing at home this time, and they had their safeties back and healthy.</p>
<p>In the end,<a href="http://www.fantasy-info.com/search/label/Brett_Favre"> Brett Favre</a> and the Vikings were too much as Favre threw four touchdown passes and beat his old team for the second time this year.</p>
<p><span style="font-weight: bold; color: #993399;">Favre Has a Great Game</span></p>
<p>I didn&#8217;t think Favre would play a flawless game against his old team in Lambeau this week. Favre has always been an emotional player, and many times he comes into big games and has a tough time early on.</p>
<p>However, Favre didn&#8217;t have a slow start and was strong for the entire game. At the end of the day, Favre was 17 of 28 for 244 yards passing and four touchdown passes.</p>
<div style="float: right; margin-left: 5px;"><a href="http://view.picapp.com/default.aspx?term=Brett%20Favre&amp;iid=6953490" target="_blank"><img style="width: 225px; height: 326px;" src="http://cdn.picapp.com/ftp/Images/1/2/7/b/Minnesota_Vikings_v_e817.jpg?adImageId=7078812&amp;imageId=6953490" border="0" alt="Minnesota Vikings v Green Bay Packers" /></a></div>
<p><script src="http://cdn.pis.picapp.com/IamProd/PicAppPIS/JavaScript/PisV4.js" type="text/javascript"></script><br />
The Vikings now have a commanding lead in the NFC Central and should run away with the division and wrap it up early in December.</p>
<p>Favre truly makes this team better as he is the final piece of the puzzle for this strong team.</p>
<p>Look for the Vikings to be a major player in the post season this year.</p>
<p><span style="font-weight: bold; color: #339999;">Aaron Rodgers Not Good Enough</span></p>
<p>Part of <a href="http://www.fantasy-info.com/search/label/Aaron_Rodgers">Aaron Rodgers</a> problems against the Vikings (and every week) is that he isn&#8217;t getting the greatest pass protection and is under lots of pressure.</p>
<p>While the offensive line has struggled this season, Rodgers hasn&#8217;t helped them much as he likes to hold onto the football.</p>
<p>Because he holds onto the ball a long time he will always take more sacks and hits by opposing defenses. Rodgers isn&#8217;t the only quarterback in football that plays this way as <a href="http://www.fantasy-info.com/search/label/*Steelers">Steelers </a>quarterback <a href="http://www.fantasy-info.com/search/label/Ben_Roethlisberger">Ben Roethlisberger</a> does the exact same thing.</p>
<p>Because of this Rodgers will make more plays down the field, but he will also be an injury risk.</p>
<p><span style="font-weight: bold; color: #339999;">Greg Jennings Finally Produces</span></p>
<p>It&#8217;s been awhile since fantasy owners could feel good about the way <a href="http://www.fantasy-info.com/search/label/Greg_Jennings">Greg Jennings</a> has performed on the football field. At times it almost seems that Jennings has been a forgotten target in this high octane offense.</p>
<p>Today Jennings had eight receptions for over 80 yards and a touchdown catch. Hopefully, Jennings can have a strong second half of the fantasy season and help fantasy owners to the playoffs.</p>

<p><script src="http://cdn.pis.picapp.com/IamProd/PicAppPIS/JavaScript/PisV4.js" type="text/javascript"></script>Last week we talked about <a href="http://www.fantasy-info.com/search/label/Rashard_Mendenhall">Rashard Mendenhall</a> being a hot waiver pickup because <a href="http://www.fantasy-info.com/search/label/Willie_Parker">Willie Parker</a> would be out with turf toe. If you happened to pick him up and start him, you enjoyed a fabulous day from the second year running back.</p>
<p>This week marks the second bye week for the NFL football season, and if you have players on the <a href="http://www.fantasy-info.com/search/label/*Bears">Bears</a>, <a href="http://www.fantasy-info.com/search/label/*Packers">Packers</a>, <a href="http://www.fantasy-info.com/search/label/*Saints">Saints</a> of <a href="http://www.fantasy-info.com/search/label/*Chargers">Chargers</a> they are off. No doubt fantasy football owners will be hurting as top end quarterbacks are off this weekend.</p>
<p>Below we have the top players you might want to pay attention to, for waiver pickups. Even if you don&#8217;t select a waiver (or have already done so) it&#8217;s good to keep these names in mind for the future weeks.</p>
<p><span style="font-weight: bold; color: #000099;">Quarterbacks</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: bold; color: #339999;">Jaguars- David Garrard- Bye Week 7</span></p>
<p><a href="http://www.fantasy-info.com/search/label/David_Garrard">David Garrard</a> had a fabulous day against the <a href="http://www.fantasy-info.com/search/label/*Titans">Titans</a>, and he now has a budding fantasy star receiver in <a href="http://www.fantasy-info.com/search/label/Mike%20Sims-Walker">Mike Sims-Walker</a>. Look for Garrard to continue his solid play as the <a href="http://www.fantasy-info.com/search/label/*Jaguars">Jaguars</a> get set for a clash with the Seahawks secondary.</p>
<p>Last week <a href="http://www.fantasy-info.com/search/label/Peyton_Manning">Peyton Manning</a> picked this secondary apart, and I expect Garrard to have a successful day as well.</p>
<p><span style="font-weight: bold; color: #990000;">Redskins- Jason Campbell- Bye Week 8</span></p>
<p>Excuse me one second&#8230;&#8230;</p>
<p>Now that I&#8217;m done throwing up from the thought of suggesting this player to you, we can move on.</p>
<p><a href="http://www.fantasy-info.com/search/label/Jason_Campbell">Jason Campbell</a> actually had a good fantasy game two weeks ago against the Lions. Not only that but his connection with <a href="http://www.fantasy-info.com/search/label/Santana_Moss">Santana Moss</a> is one of the hottest going in all of football.</p>
<p>This week the <a href="http://www.fantasy-info.com/search/label/*Redskins">Redskins</a> go down to Carolina and face off against the <a href="http://www.fantasy-info.com/search/label/*Panthers">Panthers</a> shaky defense. If you need a starter in a pinch then you might want to pick Campbell up and give him a one week try.</p>
<p><span style="font-weight: bold; color: #333399;">Running Backs</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: bold; color: #999900;">Steelers- Rashard Mendenhall- Bye Week 8</span></p>
<p>I know many of you probably didn&#8217;t pay much attention to our recommendation of Mendenhall a week ago. This is understandable seeing that he was benched the week before. If for some reason, Mendenhall is still available in your league, I would pick him up right away.</p>
<p>This situation between Mendenhall and Parker reminds me of <a href="http://www.fantasy-info.com/search/label/Pierre_Thomas">Pierre Thomas</a> and <a href="http://www.fantasy-info.com/search/label/Reggie_Bush">Reggie Bush</a> a season ago.</p>
<p>You could see that what the team needed is what a guy like Mendenhall or Thomas have to offer. They run hard between the tackles and have explosion through the hole.</p>
<p>Bush and Parker, on the other hand, can&#8217;t stay healthy and are not effective full time runners.</p>
<p>Mendenhall should put up strong numbers again this week against the <a href="http://www.fantasy-info.com/search/label/*Lions">Lions </a>as he will get the bulk of the work.</p>
<p><span style="font-weight: bold; color: #cc0000;">Browns- Jerome Harrison- Bye Week 9</span></p>
<p><a href="http://www.fantasy-info.com/search/label/Jerome_Harrison">Jerome Harrison</a> should be the starting tailback in <a href="http://www.fantasy-info.com/search/label/*Browns">Cleveland</a> for the rest of the year.<a href="http://www.fantasy-info.com/search/label/Jamal_Lewis"> Jamal Lewis</a> is washed up and rookie <a href="http://www.fantasy-info.com/search/label/James_Davis">James Davis</a> is on injured reserve.</p>
<p>Last week Harrison had over 150 total yards from scrimmage and makes for a good starter this week against the <a href="http://www.fantasy-info.com/search/label/*Bills">Bills</a>.</p>
<p><span style="font-weight: bold; color: #333399;">Wide Receivers</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: bold; color: #cc0000;">Browns- Mohamed Massaquoi- Bye Week 9</span></p>
<p>Rookie <a href="http://www.fantasy-info.com/search/label/Mohamed_Massaquoi">Mohamaed Massaquoi</a> had himself a great game last week with eight receptions for 148 yards against the Bengals. This week <a href="http://www.fantasy-info.com/search/label/Braylon_Edwards">Braylon Edwards</a> may be disciplined by the league because he allegedly punched a man at a night club on Monday mourning.</p>
<p>If Edwards should be suspended than Massaquoi will continue to be the top dog in Cleveland this week.</p>
<p><span style="font-weight: bold; color: #333399;">Tight Ends</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: bold; color: #339999;">Packers- Jermichael Finley- Bye Week 5</span></p>
<p>The Packers are on a bye week this week but <a href="http://www.nfl.com/players/profile?id=00-0026231">Jermichael Finley</a> is clearly a tight end that is coming on in fantasy football. On Monday night, he had a fabulous day against the <a href="http://www.fantasy-info.com/search/label/*Vikings">Vikings</a> with six catches for 128 yards and a very nice touchdown.</p>
<p>Green Bay is having protection problems on the offensive line and <a href="http://www.fantasy-info.com/search/label/Aaron_Rodgers">Aaron Rodgers</a> is looking towards his tight ends more often. If you can stash Finley away this week or even pick him up next week he is a good bet for points.</p>
<p><span style="font-weight: bold; color: #3333ff;">Panthers- Daunte Rosario- Bye Week 4</span></p>
<p>Click here to see our wright up last week on Daunte Rosario.</p>
<p><a style="font-weight: bold;" href="http://www.fantasy-info.com/2009/09/nfl-waiver-wire-pickups-week-4-football.html">Week 4 Waivers</a></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: bold; color: #333399;">Kickers</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: bold; color: #339999;">Jaguars- Josh Schobee- Bye Week 7</span></p>
<p>The Jaguars are playing some solid football and Josh Schobee has been a solid kicker for fantasy this year. Look for Schobee to continue his solid play this week against the Seahawks.</p>
<p><span style="font-weight: bold; color: #6600cc;">Defense / Special Teams </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: bold; color: #339999;">Dolphins- Miami Dolphins- Bye Week 6</span></p>
<p>The Dolphins&#8217; defense had a very solid game last week against the Bills. This week the Jets come to town and rookie quarterback <a href="http://www.fantasy-info.com/search/label/Mark_Sanchez">Mark Sanchez</a> was exposed by the <a href="http://www.fantasy-info.com/search/label/*Saints">Saints</a> a week ago.</p>
<p>Look for the Dolphins to play another spirited game against the <a href="http://www.fantasy-info.com/search/label/*Jets">Jets</a> this week in Miami.</p>

<p><script src="http://cdn.pis.picapp.com/IamProd/PicAppPIS/JavaScript/PisV4.js" type="text/javascript"></script>This was the night <a href="http://www.fantasy-info.com/search/label/Brett_Favre">Brett Favre</a> has waited on for more than a year now. The game he would finally get to stick it to his old team and lead the <a href="http://www.fantasy-info.com/search/label/*Vikings">Vikings</a> to a victory. For the night Favre had a strong game as he threw for three touchdown passes.</p>
<p><span style="font-weight: bold; color: #993399;">It&#8217;s Brett Favre&#8217;s Night</span></p>
<p>Favre was on point with most of his throws tonight going 24-of-31 for 271 yards and the three touchdown scores. The Vikings beat the <a href="http://www.fantasy-info.com/search/label/*Packers">Packers</a> 30-to-23 as the Pack made it close at the end.</p>
<div style="float: right; margin-left: 5px;"><a href="http://view.picapp.com/default.aspx?term=nfl&amp;iid=6713119" target="_blank"><img style="width: 207px; height: 130px;" src="http://cdn.picapp.com/ftp/Images/b/3/6/8/Green_Bay_Packers_7be7.jpg?adImageId=4473133&amp;imageId=6713119" border="0" alt="Green Bay Packers v Minnesota Vikings" /></a></div>
<p><script src="http://cdn.pis.picapp.com/IamProd/PicAppPIS/JavaScript/PisV4.js" type="text/javascript"></script><br />
While Favre had a strong game it was nice to see <a href="http://www.fantasy-info.com/search/label/Bernard_Berrian">Bernard Berrian</a> have a good game as he&#8217;s had a very slow start to the season. Berrian had six catches for 75 yards and a touchdown.</p>
<p>It looks like Berrian is healthy right at the same time Favre has his timing down in the offense.</p>
<p>Expect a solid season from Berrian from this point forward.</p>
<p><span style="font-weight: bold; color: #339999;">Vikings Defense Sacks Rodgers Eight Times</span></p>
<p>Jared Allen led the Vikings tonight with 4.5 sacks and one of his sacks went for a safety. The Packers offensive line continued their problems on the edge, and they lost another tackle to injury during the game.</p>
<p>If the Packers are going to keep <a href="http://www.fantasy-info.com/search/label/Aaron_Rodgers">Aaron Rodgers</a> healthy this season, they need to step up their pass protection moving forward. Green Bay has a bye this coming week, hopefully they can correct some things for protection in that time off.</p>

<p>Last week the <a href="http://www.fantasy-info.com/search/label/*Bengals">Bengals</a> lost a heart breaker to the <a href="http://www.fantasy-info.com/search/label/*Broncos">Broncos</a> at the end of the game. This week they had a tall order as they played the <a href="http://www.fantasy-info.com/search/label/*Packers">Packers</a>, on the road.</p>
<p><span style="font-weight: bold; color: #990000;">Carson Palmer has Four Touchdowns</span></p>
<p>I expected to see the Bengals fold up and lose this game as they played a team that should go to the playoffs. Unfortunately, for the Packers, <a href="http://www.fantasy-info.com/search/label/Carson_Palmer">Carson Palmer</a> and the Bengals were up to the task of playing good football.</p>
<p>Palmer spread the ball around and threw one touchdown to all three of his top receivers. <a href="http://www.fantasy-info.com/search/label/Chad_Ochocinco">Chad Ochocinco</a> made the final touchdown catch and delivered on his promise to do the Lambeau leap.</p>
<div style="text-align: right;"><a href="http://view.picapp.com/default.aspx?term=Bengals&amp;iid=6556751" target="_blank"><img style="width: 162px; height: 108px;" src="http://cdn.picapp.com/ftp/Images/5/3/5/c/Cincinnati_Bengals_v_156d.jpg?adImageId=3262332&amp;imageId=6556751" border="0" alt="Cincinnati Bengals v Green Bay Packers" /></a><script src="http://cdn.pis.picapp.com/IamProd/PicAppPIS/JavaScript/PisV4.js" type="text/javascript"></script></div>
<p>The Bengals quarterback also added a touchdown run of his own, bringing his touchdown total for four on the day.</p>
<p><span style="font-weight: bold; color: #990000;">Cedric Benson Runs Well Again</span></p>
<p>Last week <a href="http://www.fantasy-info.com/search/label/Cedric_Benson">Cedric Benson</a> had a nice running day against the Broncos and this week he was strong again. In this contest, he had 29 rushes for 141 yards rushing. Expect the Bengals to continue giving Benson the ball twenty plus times a week.</p>
<p>Benson is clearly the feature back on the Bengals, and it looks like he is now the runner we expected to see coming out of Texas.</p>
<p>This running back and the Bengals offense is in line for a very successful fantasy season.</p>
<p><span style="font-weight: bold; color: #006600;">Rodgers Sacked Six Times</span></p>
<div style="text-align: center;"><a href="http://view.picapp.com/default.aspx?term=Bengals&amp;iid=6556749" target="_blank"><img style="width: 194px; height: 129px;" src="http://cdn.picapp.com/ftp/Images/b/7/e/c/Cincinnati_Bengals_v_248a.jpg?adImageId=3262348&amp;imageId=6556749" border="0" alt="Cincinnati Bengals v Green Bay Packers" /></a><script src="http://cdn.pis.picapp.com/IamProd/PicAppPIS/JavaScript/PisV4.js" type="text/javascript"></script></div>
<p><a href="http://www.fantasy-info.com/search/label/Aaron_Rodgers">Aaron Rodgers</a> was sacked six times (5 by <a href="http://www.nfl.com/players/profile?id=00-0022918">Antwan Odom</a>) and if the Packers are going to make the playoffs, they need better protection. Not only did Rodgers get beat up but top receiver<a href="http://www.fantasy-info.com/search/label/Greg_Jennings"> Greg Jennings</a> didn&#8217;t get a reception.</p>
<p>Next week the Packers should get back on track against the <a href="http://www.fantasy-info.com/search/label/*Rams">Rams</a>. Hopefully, fantasy owners will be happy in that game.</p>

<p>Last week Adrian Peterson was a total stud as he had 180 rushing and three touchdowns. If you used Peterson last week, it was a good game to use him for the season, as many running backs had down weeks.</p>
<p>While Peterson was strong other runner were more valuable this week like Thomas Jones or Julius Jones. If you happened to start either of these runners, you got great value for the one time you could use them all year.</p>
<p>This week a lot of big name running backs have great matchups but quarterbacks and receiver do not.</p>
<p>Below we have our survivor pool rankings split into three sections, and they are studs, mid range and poor plays.</p>
<p>We hope these survivor pool rankings help you choose those stud players you need this week for a successful start to the 2009 survivor fantasy season.</p>

<p>Week one of the fantasy football schedule is already behind us. Hopefully, your fantasy team got off to a good start to begin the year.</p>
<p>This week we have our weekly section on wounded warriors, as well as our top rankings for top position players. We have the top 16 ranked QB, TE, K and D/ST ranked. We also have the top 30 RB&#8217;s and top 40 WR&#8217;s as well.</p>
<p>Every week we will start off with our wounded warrior&#8217;s section. These are the key players that are on the injury report that you need to pay attention too before games begin.</p>
<p><span style="font-weight: bold; color: #660000;">Wounded Warrior&#8217;s</span></p>
<p><a style="font-weight: bold;" href="http://www.fantasy-info.com/search/label/Donovan_McNabb">Donovan McNabb</a><span style="font-weight: bold;"> vs <a href="http://www.fantasy-info.com/search/label/*Saints">Saints</a></span> &#8211; McNabb has missed practice on Wednesday and Thursday, so far this week. At this point in time, it looks like he will be a scratch. Even if he can play, the Eagles will probably run the ball and throw short passes.</p>
<p><a style="font-weight: bold;" href="http://www.fantasy-info.com/search/label/Matt_Cassel">Matt Cassel</a><span style="font-weight: bold;"> vs <a href="http://www.fantasy-info.com/search/label/*Raiders">Raiders</a></span>- Right now I hope you have a better option than Cassel on your team to start. However, he should make players like Dwayne Bowe more valuable, when he&#8217;s on the field.</p>
<p>At this point in time, it looks like Cassel may in fact play, so hopefully we can expect better production from Bowe and Larry Johnson.</p>
<p><a style="font-weight: bold;" href="http://www.fantasy-info.com/search/label/Kyle_Orton">Kyle Orton</a><span style="font-weight: bold;"> vs <a href="http://www.fantasy-info.com/search/label/*Browns">Browns</a></span>- Orton is still wearing padded protection in his injured finger. Eddie Royal and Brandon Marshall may suffer a bit, while Orton is recovering. At the same time, all three players should have opportunities for success this week.</p>
<p><a style="font-weight: bold;" href="http://www.fantasy-info.com/search/label/LaDainian_Tomlinson">LaDainian Tomlinson</a><span style="font-weight: bold;"> vs <a href="http://www.fantasy-info.com/search/label/*Ravens">Ravens</a></span>- Tomlinson has missed practice both days this week. Right now he is wearing a protective boot on his injured ankle. Even if LT does play this week he is a poor bet for production against Baltimore.</p>
<p>If you have other options to start, I would bench Tomlinson this week.</p>
<p><a style="font-weight: bold;" href="http://www.fantasy-info.com/search/label/Pierre_Thomas">Pierre Thomas</a><span style="font-weight: bold;"> vs <a href="http://www.fantasy-info.com/search/label/*Eagles">@ Eagles</a></span>- Thomas has been practicing with a heavy knee brace and his status for this week is up in the air.</p>
<p>Thomas did say on his twitter that he is ready to go for this week. This is a good sign, but even if he does it will probably be in a limited role.</p>
<p><a style="font-weight: bold;" href="http://www.fantasy-info.com/search/label/Antonio_Bryant">Antonio Bryant</a><span style="font-weight: bold;"> vs <a href="http://www.fantasy-info.com/search/label/*Bills">@ Bills</a></span>- Bryant makes for a bad play this week as he is still recovering from knee surgery. Last week he pulled himself out of the game. Look for other options this week.</p>
<p><a style="font-weight: bold;" href="http://www.fantasy-info.com/search/label/Anquan_Boldin">Anquan Boldin</a><span style="font-weight: bold;"> vs <a href="http://www.fantasy-info.com/search/label/*Jaguars">@ Jaguars</a></span>- Boldin said his hamstring is much better than last week, but it is still not 100%. Unless you have a deep receiving core, I would suggest you keep Boldin in the lineup.</p>
<p><a style="font-weight: bold;" href="http://www.fantasy-info.com/search/label/TJ_Houshmandzadeh">T.J. Houshmandzadeh</a><span style="font-weight: bold;"> vs <a href="http://www.fantasy-info.com/search/label/*49ers">@ 49ers</a></span>- Housh is listed as probable this week with back and rib issues. He should be fine for the game as the Seahawks and 49ers fight for first place in the division.</p>
<p><a style="font-weight: bold;" href="http://www.fantasy-info.com/search/label/Brandon_Marshall">Brandon Marshall</a><span style="font-weight: bold;"> vs <a href="http://www.fantasy-info.com/search/label/*Browns">Browns</a></span>- Marshall is not listed on the injury report. This is a good sign, but he will still need some time to get into playing shape. If you have good depth you might consider benching him until he proves he&#8217;s back.</p>
<p><a style="font-weight: bold;" href="http://www.fantasy-info.com/search/label/Jeremy_Shockey">Jeremy Shockey</a><span style="font-weight: bold;"> vs <a href="http://www.fantasy-info.com/search/label/*Eagles">@ Eagles</a></span>- Shockey was limited on Thursday&#8217;s practice with an ankle issue. However, he is not expected to miss the game and should be a decent start this week.</p>
<p><span style="font-weight: bold;"> <span style="color: #000099;">Quarterback</span></span></p>
