<p><script src="http://cdn.pis.picapp.com/IamProd/PicAppPIS/JavaScript/PisV4.js" type="text/javascript"></script>The <a href="http://www.fantasy-info.com/search/label/*Texans">Texans</a> had a great opportunity to make a playoff surge with two straight games at home against the <a href="http://www.fantasy-info.com/search/label/*Titans">Titans</a> and <a href="http://www.fantasy-info.com/search/label/*Colts">Colts</a>. While the Texans started each game strong, they gave both games away late in the fourth quarter will unfortunate play.</p>
<p><span style="font-weight: bold; color: #660000;">Giving Away Playoff Dreams</span></p>
<p>The Colts were down until a 4th quarter touchdown from <a href="http://www.fantasy-info.com/search/label/Peyton_Manning">Peyton Manning</a> to <a href="http://www.fantasy-info.com/search/label/Dallas_Clark">Dallas Clark</a>. After that touchdown throw the Colts took the lead 21 to 20 and never looked back.</p>
<p><a href="http://www.fantasy-info.com/search/label/Matt_Schaub">Matt Schaub</a> could have been a hero but on the next drive, he threw an interception for a touchdown and the score was 28 to 20.</p>
<div style="float: right; margin-left: 5px;"><a href="http://view.picapp.com/default.aspx?term=Texans&amp;iid=7159235" target="_blank"><img style="width: 264px; height: 176px;" src="http://cdn.picapp.com/ftp/Images/4/3/6/3/Indianapolis_Colts_v_ce99.jpg?adImageId=7928508&amp;imageId=7159235" border="0" alt="Indianapolis Colts v Houston Texans" /></a></div>
<p><script src="http://cdn.pis.picapp.com/IamProd/PicAppPIS/JavaScript/PisV4.js" type="text/javascript"></script><br />
Then on the next drive Schaub fumbled the football and the Colts ran a touchdown in from 23-yards out to put the game away.</p>
<p>This was a very disappointing ending for the Texans for the third straight week in a row as they are now five and six on the season. Unless they can win out for the rest of the year the Texans will miss the playoffs once again.</p>
<p><span style="font-weight: bold; color: #3333ff;">Manning and Colts have Game Handed to Them</span></p>
<p>This was another shaky game for Manning and the Colts&#8217; offense as they had to play from behind most of the game.</p>
<p>If this team is going to stay undefeated next week against the Titans one has to think they need to pick up their play for the future.</p>
<p>From a fantasy perspective, Manning has been slipping for the last month and today was just a continuation of his struggles. If fantasy owners with Manning hope to make a dent in the playoffs, they will need Manning to turn things around fast.</p>

Standing atop the highlights for week nine in fantasy football has to be the reemergence of stud running back Michael Turner. In the past two weeks Turner has a yards per carry of over eight yards.
Not to mention that he has racked up over 300 yards rushing in those games and has three touchdowns.

Before this surge, it looked like Turner was going to be a bust for as high as fantasy football owners drafted him. Now, he looks like his old self and is ready to have a very strong second half of the season.</p>
<p>Below I have some observations from the ninth week of the regular season and how I see those points of interest playing out from a fantasy perspective.</p>

<p><span style="font-weight: bold; color: #336666;">Fantasy Football Regular Season Week Nine Notes:</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: bold; color: #6600cc;">Failure to Launch</span></p>
<p>The stats for <a href="http://www.fantasy-info.com/search/label/Peyton_Manning">Peyton Manning</a> don&#8217;t look that bad as he did have 50 passing attempts for 318 yards and a touchdown score.</p>
<p>However, Manning has lost the killer instinct that he had early in the season as he&#8217;s now only thrown one touchdown pass in that past two weeks.</p>
<div style="float: right; margin-left: 5px;"><a href="http://view.picapp.com/default.aspx?iid=6999221&amp;term=Dallas%20Clark" target="_blank"><img style="width: 230px; height: 151px;" title="Houston Texans v Indianapolis Colts - INDIANAPOLIS - NOVEMBER 08: Dallas Clark #44 of the Indianapolis Colts runs with the ball during the NFL game against the Houston Texans at Lucas Oil Stadium on November 8, 2009 in Indianapolis, Indiana. <p><script src="http://cdn.pis.picapp.com/IamProd/PicAppPIS/JavaScript/PisV4.js" type="text/javascript"></script><br />
For the game Manning found his star tight end <a href="http://www.fantasy-info.com/search/label/Dallas_Clark">Dallas Clark</a> up and down the field for 14 catches and 119 yards. While this was a great effort from Clark, fantasy owners want to see Clark stick one or two of those into the end zone.</p>
<p>Hopefully, the Colts will get back to their stellar play next week when the <a href="http://www.fantasy-info.com/search/label/*Patriots">New England Patriots</a> come to town.</p>
<p><span style="font-weight: bold; color: #cc0000;">Cedric Benson Runs Hard</span></p>
<p>This season has been a great one for fantasy football owners with <a href="http://www.fantasy-info.com/search/label/Cedric_Benson">Cedric Benson</a> on their team(s).</p>
<p>The last time Benson played the Ravens, he posted the first 100 yard rushing game against their defense in years. This time around one had to believe that the Ravens would be ready for Benson and not allow him to go over the century mark twice.</p>
<div style="float: right; margin-left: 5px;"><a href="http://view.picapp.com/default.aspx?term=Cedric%20Benson&amp;iid=6999084" target="_blank"><br />
</a></div>
<p><script src="http://cdn.pis.picapp.com/IamProd/PicAppPIS/JavaScript/PisV4.js" type="text/javascript"></script><br />
By games end Benson posted 34 carries for 117 yards rushing and a touchdown run. The Bengals road Benson for their second win against the Ravens and their 4th win in the division.</p>
<p>The Bengals are still atop the division as they get ready for the <a href="http://www.fantasy-info.com/search/label/*Steelers">Steelers</a> next week . If they can win that game, they will have swept the Steelers and Ravens for the season.</p>
<p><span style="font-weight: bold; color: #993399;">Randy Moss Big Down the Stretch</span></p>
<div style="float: right; margin-left: 5px;"><a href="http://view.picapp.com/default.aspx?term=Randy%20Moss&amp;iid=6998733" target="_blank"><img style="width: 207px; height: 219px;" src="http://cdn.picapp.com/ftp/Images/3/0/e/3/Miami_Dolphins_v_4cfc.jpg?adImageId=7258323&amp;imageId=6998733" border="0" alt="Miami Dolphins v New England Patriots" /></a></div>
<p>In the middle of the third quarter both teams were tied 17 all but that was until <a href="http://www.fantasy-info.com/search/label/Tom_Brady">Tom Brady</a> found Moss.</p>
<p>Close to the end of the quarter Moss caught a pass and put a stiff arm on a defender and took the play to the house. The touchdown went for 71 yards and helped the Patriots take control of the game.</p>
<div style="float: right; margin-left: 5px;"><a href="http://view.picapp.com/default.aspx?term=Randy%20Moss&amp;iid=6998733" target="_blank"><br />
</a></div>
<p><script src="http://cdn.pis.picapp.com/IamProd/PicAppPIS/JavaScript/PisV4.js" type="text/javascript"></script><br />
For the game Moss had six catches for 147 yards and the score.</p>
<p>Next week the Patriots will go to Indianapolis and will play against he rival <a href="http://www.fantasy-info.com/search/label/*Colts">Colts</a> on Sunday night football. Get for fantasy players in for this one as it should be a great game.</p>

<p>For the game, running back <a href="http://www.fantasy-info.com/search/label/Ryan_Moats">Ryan Moats</a> continued to carry a bigger load of the ground game than former starter <a href="http://www.fantasy-info.com/search/label/Steve_Slaton">Steve Slaton</a>. We can now officially say that Slaton needs to be on fantasy benches and should remain there until he wins his job back.</p>
<p>Moats is taking away too much work in the ground game and should continue to for the next few games.</p>

<p><span style="font-weight: bold; color: #333399;">Colts Just Can&#8217;t be Stopped</span></p>
<p>This week it was Collie&#8217;s turn in the offense to have a big day as he had eight catches for 97 yards and two touchdowns. This was the kind of production that can only make fantasy football owners with <a href="http://www.fantasy-info.com/search/label/Peyton_Manning">Peyton Manning</a> smile.</p>
<p>With Garcon and Collie getting so many catches it only makes this quarterback more valuable.</p>
<div style="float: right; margin-left: 5px;"><a href="http://view.picapp.com/default.aspx?term=Peyton%20Manning&amp;iid=6783278" target="_blank"><img style="width: 211px; height: 142px;" src="http://cdn.picapp.com/ftp/Images/3/4/a/6/Indianapolis_Colts_v_db3a.jpg?adImageId=5286255&amp;imageId=6783278" border="0" alt="Indianapolis Colts v Tennesse Titans" /></a></div>
<p><script src="http://cdn.pis.picapp.com/IamProd/PicAppPIS/JavaScript/PisV4.js" type="text/javascript"></script><br />
What is just as big as the new receivers producing is the fact that the Colts are using a short passing game as a running game.</p>
<p>At the end of the game, the Colts threw the football just to win out the game.</p>
<p>Manning is having a great season, and I only expect him to keep it rolling after the bye week when they face the <a href="http://www.fantasy-info.com/search/label/*Rams">Rams</a>.</p>
<p><span style="font-weight: bold; color: #3333ff;">Titans Are Still Looking for a Win</span></p>
<p>So far, the <a href="http://www.fantasy-info.com/search/label/*Titans">Titans</a> are yet to win a game and are 0-5 on the young season. With this loss the Titans season is just about over. Next week it won&#8217;t get any easier when they go to New England and take on <a href="http://www.fantasy-info.com/search/label/Tom_Brady">Tom Brady</a> and the <a href="http://www.fantasy-info.com/search/label/*Patriots">Patriots</a>.</p>
<p>Now is probably a good time for the Titans to put <a href="http://www.fantasy-info.com/search/label/Vince_Young">Vince Young</a> in at quarterback. With the season out of reach, it is time to see what Young can give them.</p>
<p>If he can&#8217;t turn things around and play well than the Titans will probably use a high draft pick on one of the big quarterbacks coming out.</p>

<p><span style="font-weight: bold; color: #3333ff;">Peyton Manning is on Fire</span></p>
<p>So far, this season <a href="http://www.fantasy-info.com/search/label/Peyton_Manning">Peyton Manning</a> is on fire with 7 touchdown passes and almost 1,000 passing yards. Tonight was his best game yet as he had 379 yards passing and 4 touchdowns.</p>
<div style="float: right; margin-left: 5px;"><a href="http://view.picapp.com/default.aspx?term=Colts&amp;iid=6637801" target="_blank"><img style="width: 216px; height: 151px;" src="http://cdn.picapp.com/ftp/Images/6/c/3/c/Indianapolis_Colts_v_1e11.jpg?adImageId=3545418&amp;imageId=6637801" border="0" alt="Indianapolis Colts v Arizona Cardinals" /></a></div>
<p><script src="http://cdn.pis.picapp.com/IamProd/PicAppPIS/JavaScript/PisV4.js" type="text/javascript"></script><br />
This passing game is playing out of its mind and new starting receiver <a href="http://www.fantasy-info.com/search/label/Pierre_Garcon">Pierre Garcon</a> looks like a real find. Garcon may not be as polished as <a href="http://www.fantasy-info.com/search/label/Reggie_Wayne">Reggie Wayne</a> but that is because he&#8217;s only a second year player.</p>
<p>I think Garcon can help fantasy football teams this year, but he will probably help Manning owners the most. In the past two games, we have seen Garcon make big touchdown plays, but at the same time not catch a lot of passes.</p>
<p>This is mainly because of Wayne and <a href="http://www.fantasy-info.com/search/label/Dallas_Clark">Dallas Clark</a> being the veterans in the offense, will get first licks. As this season progresses, I believe Garcon and Manning will develop more chemistry and Garcon will have more catches.</p>
<p>Look for Manning, Wayne, Clark and Garcon to all have fine season for fantasy teams this season.</p>
<p><span style="font-weight: bold; color: #990000;">Kurt Warner Struggles</span></p>
<p>The Cardinals veteran quarterback <a href="http://www.fantasy-info.com/search/label/Kurt_Warner">Kurt Warner</a> had a good yardage total with 332 yards passing. The reason he had that many yards are because the Cardinals were playing from behind for most of the game.</p>
<p>Look for the Cardinals to regroup next week as they are on a <a href="http://www.fantasy-info.com/search/label/2009_NFL_Bye_Weeks">bye week</a>. Warner could use the rest as the Colts&#8217; defense harassed him the entire game.<br />

<p><script src="http://cdn.pis.picapp.com/IamProd/PicAppPIS/JavaScript/PisV4.js" type="text/javascript"></script><a href="http://www.fantasy-info.com/search/label/*Colts">Indianapolis Colts&#8217;</a> tight end <a href="http://www.fantasy-info.com/search/label/Dallas_Clark">Dallas Clark</a> has been an NFL fantasy football star for a few years now. This talented first round pick out of Iowa has been one of the staples of <a href="http://www.fantasy-info.com/search/label/Peyton_Manning">Peyton Manning&#8217;s</a> great offenses for the past 7 years.</p>
<p>In the past two seasons Clark has had his greatest production of his career as he had 11 touchdowns in 2007 and had 77 receptions for 848 yards in 2008.</p>
<p>As great as those numbers are for a tight end, I believe Clark may have his greatest season of all this year.</p>
<p><span style="font-weight: bold; color: #3333ff;">The Colts Have Lost Marvin Harrison Before</span></p>
<p>Many analysts in the NFL have wondered if the Colts&#8217; offense could still be great now that <a href="http://www.fantasy-info.com/search/label/Marvin_Harrison">Marvin Harrison</a> is gone from the team. This question burns me up because we have all seen how this offense can run without Harrison before.</p>
<div style="float: left; margin-right: 5px;"><a href="http://view.picapp.com/default.aspx?term=Marvin%20Harrison&amp;iid=2022541" target="_blank"><img style="width: 146px; height: 146px;" src="http://cdn.picapp.com/ftp/Images/7/9/3/2/Indianapolis_Colts_v_b563.jpg?adImageId=3321428&amp;imageId=2022541" border="0" alt="Indianapolis Colts v Houston Texans" /></a></div>
<p><script src="http://cdn.pis.picapp.com/IamProd/PicAppPIS/JavaScript/PisV4.js" type="text/javascript"></script><br />
In 2007, Harrison played only five games as he had a knee injury that cost him most of the season.</p>
<p>That year Manning still threw for over 4,000 yards and had 34 total touchdowns. As mentioned before, Clark had a career high 11 touchdowns to go with 58 receptions and 616 yards.</p>
<p>This year the Colts&#8217; offense is in the same situation it was back in &#8216;07 with no Harrison, and a young inexperienced, No.2 receiver. In &#8216;07 that receiver was the rookie<a href="http://www.fantasy-info.com/search/label/Anthony_Gonzalez"> Anthony Gonzalez</a> and this season it is second year man <a href="http://www.fantasy-info.com/search/label/Pierre_Garcon">Pierre Garcon</a>.</p>
<p>In this situation Manning tends to lean on Clark more as he becomes the true No. 2 receiving option.</p>
<div style="float: right; margin-left: 5px;"><a href="http://view.picapp.com/default.aspx?term=Dallas%20Clark&amp;iid=6564229" target="_blank"><img style="width: 244px; height: 121px;" src="http://cdn.picapp.com/ftp/Images/f/0/4/0/Indianapolis_Colts_v_59a6.jpg?adImageId=3321382&amp;imageId=6564229" border="0" alt="Indianapolis Colts v Miami Dolphins" /></a></div>
<p><script src="http://cdn.pis.picapp.com/IamProd/PicAppPIS/JavaScript/PisV4.js" type="text/javascript"></script><br />
Not only will Manning lean on his tight end like he did against the <a href="http://www.fantasy-info.com/search/label/*Dolphins">Dolphins</a> ( 7 catches, 183 yards and a touchdown) but the Colts also have a very nice <a href="http://www.fantasy-info.com/2009/08/colts-2009-nfl-regular-season-schedule.html">passing schedule</a> this season.</p>
<ul>
<li><span style="font-weight: bold;">Wk 3- <a href="http://www.fantasy-info.com/search/label/*Cardinals">@ Cardinals</a></span></li>
<li><span style="font-weight: bold;">Wk 4- <a href="http://www.fantasy-info.com/search/label/*Seahawks">Seahawks</a></span></li>

<li><span style="font-weight: bold;">Wk 7- <a href="http://www.fantasy-info.com/search/label/*Rams">@ Rams</a></span></li>
<li><span style="font-weight: bold;">Wk 8- <a href="http://www.fantasy-info.com/search/label/*49ers"> 49ers</a></span></li>
<li><span style="font-weight: bold;">Wk 9- <a href="http://www.fantasy-info.com/search/label/*Texans">Texans</a></span></li>
<li><span style="font-weight: bold;">Wk 10- <a href="http://www.fantasy-info.com/search/label/*Patriots">Patriots</a></span></li>
<li><span style="font-weight: bold;">Wk 11- <a href="http://www.fantasy-info.com/search/label/*Ravens">@ Ravens</a></span></li>
<li><span style="font-weight: bold;">Wk 12- @ Texans</span></li>
<li><span style="font-weight: bold;">Wk 13- Titans</span></li>
<li><span style="font-weight: bold;">Wk 14- <a href="http://www.fantasy-info.com/search/label/*Broncos">Broncos</a></span></li>
<li><span style="font-weight: bold;">Wk 15-@ Jaguars</span></li>
<li><span style="font-weight: bold;">Wk 16- <a href="http://www.fantasy-info.com/search/label/*Jets">Jets</a></span></li>
</ul>
<p>Out of this schedule, there are four games I can see that before the season started would have been hard games.</p>
<p>Those games would have been against the Titans (2 games), Ravens and Jets.</p>
<p>The Titans, so far this season, have the worst defense in football against the pass. The Ravens are a good defense but Manning and the Colts have killed this team over the years.</p>
<p>This leaves the Jets as the one true legitimate game that, on paper, should be a hard matchup. That game is not until week 16 and many things can change henceforward until then.</p>
<p><span style="font-weight: bold; color: #3333ff;">Fantasy Football Rankings for Dallas Clark</span></p>
<p>Assuming Clark stays healthy, I believe he is truly in line for his greatest season as an NFL football player. Look for Clark to remain as one of the best tight end options in fantasy football for the 2009 season.</p>
<p>If you have Clark on your team, then sit back and enjoy as this should be a fine season.</p>

This week we saw some wild games and some defense break down bad against the run.</p>
<p>If teams are playing like this in September, what will happen if the league goes to 18 regular season games and the season starts in August?</p>
<p>Below I have some observations from the second week of the regular season and how I see those points of interest playing out from a fantasy perspective.</p>

</ul>
<p><span style="font-weight: bold; color: #336666;">Fantasy Football Regular Season Week Two Notes:</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: bold; color: #333399;">Peyton Manning Steals a Win</span></p>
<p>Manning started the game off with a bang as he found his tight end <a href="http://www.fantasy-info.com/search/label/Dallas_Clark">Dallas Clark</a> for an 80 yard touchdown pass to start the game. For the night Manning had two touchdowns and 303 yards on only 14 completions.</p>
<div style="float: right; margin-left: 5px;"><a href="http://view.picapp.com/default.aspx?iid=6564208&amp;term=Miami%20Dolphins" target="_blank"><img style="width: 170px; height: 180px;" title="Indianapolis Colts v Miami Dolphins - MIAMI - SEPTEMBER 21: Tight end Dallas Clark #44 of the Indianapolis Colts celebrates his touchdown on the first play from scrimmage against the Miami Dolphins at Land Shark Stadium on September 21, 2009 in Miami, Florida. <p><script src="http://cdn.pis.picapp.com/IamProd/PicAppPIS/JavaScript/PisV4.js" type="text/javascript"></script><br />
The <a href="http://www.fantasy-info.com/search/label/*Colts">Colts </a>were on the sidelines for most of the game as the Dolphins pounded out the yardage on the ground.</p>
<p>On the Colts last drive of the game Manning threw a quick pass to second year receiver Pierre Garcon, and he took it the distance for a 48 yard touchdown catch.</p>
<p>It looks like Garcon is very capable of filling <a href="http://www.fantasy-info.com/search/label/Anthony_Gonzalez">Anthony Gonzalez&#8217;s</a> shoe for now so this is a great sign for Manning&#8217;s fantasy value.</p>
<p>Look for Garcon as a nice fantasy waiver pickup this week.</p>
<p><span style="font-weight: bold; color: #660000;">Matt Schaub Saves the Day</span></p>
<p>I picked the Texans to make it into the playoffs as a wild card this offseason. If they were, in fact, finally going to get to the post season, they needed to win this game. Last week the Texans were embarrassed at home against the <a href="http://www.fantasy-info.com/search/label/*Jets">Jets</a> and this week started out no better.</p>
<div style="text-align: left;"><a href="http://view.picapp.com/default.aspx?iid=6557516&amp;term=Texans" target="_blank"><img style="width: 199px; height: 140px;" title="Houston Texans v Tennessee Titans - NASHVILLE, TN - SEPTEMBER 20: Matt Schaub #8 of the Houston Texans throws a pass against the Tennessee Titans during the NFL game at LP Field on September 20, 2009 in Nashville, Tennessee. <p>It did not seem to matter how many big touchdowns the Titans had, as Matt Schaub kept leading his team to touchdowns.</p>
<p>The Titans were obsessed with stopping running back <a href="http://www.fantasy-info.com/search/label/Steve_Slaton">Steve Slaton</a> as he had two 100 yard rushing days against them last year. Seeing that Slaton was the only runner to have a 100 yard rushing day against them last year, it was understandable that they wanted to stop him.</p>
<p>Unfortunately, to stop Slaton meant leaving themselves susceptible to the big play down the field. Because of this, Andre Johnson and Jacoby Jones had huge days.</p>
<p>Look for Slaton to get his year on track against the <a href="http://www.fantasy-info.com/search/label/*Jaguars">Jaguars</a> suspect defense next week.</p>
<p><span style="font-weight: bold; color: #990000;">Frank Gore Runs Wild</span></p>
<p>Some doubted if <a href="http://www.fantasy-info.com/search/label/Frank_Gore">Frank Gore</a> could ever return to his great numbers he posted back in 2006. In this game, he showed the fantasy football world that he is still a very good fantasy running back.</p>
<p>In the first half, he busted a 79 yard touchdowns and in the second half he had an 80 yard touchdown. These two runs single handedly beat the Seahawks.</p>
<p>Now, it would be nice to see the 49ers do a better job in the passing game. If they can have a respectable passing attack than Gore may be one of the top five fantasy players for 2009.</p>
<p>Only time will tell if that can happen but for now, Gore is off to a great start.</p>

<p><script src="http://cdn.pis.picapp.com/IamProd/PicAppPIS/JavaScript/PisV4.js" type="text/javascript"></script>The <a href="http://www.fantasy-info.com/search/label/*Dolphins">Dolphins</a> were looking for their first win of the year but <a href="http://www.fantasy-info.com/search/label/Peyton_Manning">Peyton Manning</a> and <a href="http://www.fantasy-info.com/search/label/Pierre_Garcon">Pierre Garcon</a> stole it away. Miami controlled the football through most of the game, with the wildcat offense. For all their dominance on the ground, they couldn&#8217;t produce the big plays to win the game at the end.</p>
<p><span style="font-weight: bold; color: #336666;">Ronnie Brown and the Wildcat</span></p>
<p>The Dolphins pounded the football with <a href="http://www.fantasy-info.com/search/label/Ronnie_Brown">Ronnie Brown</a> and <a href="http://www.fantasy-info.com/search/label/Ricky_Williams">Ricky Williams</a> as they posted 132 yards on the ground in the first half. For the game Miami&#8217;s dynamic duo had 43 carries for 205 yards and two touchdowns.</p>
<div style="float: left; margin-right: 5px;"><a href="http://view.picapp.com/default.aspx?term=Miami%20Dolphins&amp;iid=6564215" target="_blank"><img style="width: 189px; height: 125px;" src="http://cdn.picapp.com/ftp/Images/b/9/c/d/Indianapolis_Colts_v_b132.jpg?adImageId=3270658&amp;imageId=6564215" border="0" alt="Indianapolis Colts v Miami Dolphins" /></a></div>
<p><script src="http://cdn.pis.picapp.com/IamProd/PicAppPIS/JavaScript/PisV4.js" type="text/javascript"></script><br />
In most weeks this would have easily been enough to come out with a victory but tonight the defense just could hold the lead.</p>
<p>It looks like Brown is going to get enough work in this two man backfield to be an every week starter. I figured he would have a big year but was concerned by last weeks results.</p>
<p>Look for Brown to have a fine contract season in 2009.<br />
<span style="font-weight: bold; color: #333399;"><br />
Peyton Manning Steals a Win</span></p>
<p>Manning started the game off with a bang as he found his tight end <a href="http://www.fantasy-info.com/search/label/Dallas_Clark">Dallas Clark</a> for an 80 yard touchdown pass to start the game. For the night Manning had two touchdowns and 303 yards on only 14 completions.</p>
<div style="float: right; margin-left: 5px;"><a href="http://view.picapp.com/default.aspx?term=Miami%20Dolphins&amp;iid=6564208" target="_blank"><img style="width: 170px; height: 180px;" src="http://cdn.picapp.com/ftp/Images/7/7/2/3/Indianapolis_Colts_v_abe3.jpg?adImageId=3270664&amp;imageId=6564208" border="0" alt="Indianapolis Colts v Miami Dolphins" /></a></div>
<p>Look for Garcon as a nice fantasy waiver pickup this week.<br />

<p>Last week Adrian Peterson was a total stud as he had 180 rushing and three touchdowns. If you used Peterson last week, it was a good game to use him for the season, as many running backs had down weeks.</p>
<p>While Peterson was strong other runner were more valuable this week like Thomas Jones or Julius Jones. If you happened to start either of these runners, you got great value for the one time you could use them all year.</p>
<p>This week a lot of big name running backs have great matchups but quarterbacks and receiver do not.</p>
<p>Below we have our survivor pool rankings split into three sections, and they are studs, mid range and poor plays.</p>
<p>We hope these survivor pool rankings help you choose those stud players you need this week for a successful start to the 2009 survivor fantasy season.</p>

<p>Week one of the fantasy football schedule is already behind us. Hopefully, your fantasy team got off to a good start to begin the year.</p>
<p>This week we have our weekly section on wounded warriors, as well as our top rankings for top position players. We have the top 16 ranked QB, TE, K and D/ST ranked. We also have the top 30 RB&#8217;s and top 40 WR&#8217;s as well.</p>
<p>Every week we will start off with our wounded warrior&#8217;s section. These are the key players that are on the injury report that you need to pay attention too before games begin.</p>
<p><span style="font-weight: bold; color: #660000;">Wounded Warrior&#8217;s</span></p>
<p><a style="font-weight: bold;" href="http://www.fantasy-info.com/search/label/Donovan_McNabb">Donovan McNabb</a><span style="font-weight: bold;"> vs <a href="http://www.fantasy-info.com/search/label/*Saints">Saints</a></span> &#8211; McNabb has missed practice on Wednesday and Thursday, so far this week. At this point in time, it looks like he will be a scratch. Even if he can play, the Eagles will probably run the ball and throw short passes.</p>
<p><a style="font-weight: bold;" href="http://www.fantasy-info.com/search/label/Matt_Cassel">Matt Cassel</a><span style="font-weight: bold;"> vs <a href="http://www.fantasy-info.com/search/label/*Raiders">Raiders</a></span>- Right now I hope you have a better option than Cassel on your team to start. However, he should make players like Dwayne Bowe more valuable, when he&#8217;s on the field.</p>
<p>At this point in time, it looks like Cassel may in fact play, so hopefully we can expect better production from Bowe and Larry Johnson.</p>
<p><a style="font-weight: bold;" href="http://www.fantasy-info.com/search/label/Kyle_Orton">Kyle Orton</a><span style="font-weight: bold;"> vs <a href="http://www.fantasy-info.com/search/label/*Browns">Browns</a></span>- Orton is still wearing padded protection in his injured finger. Eddie Royal and Brandon Marshall may suffer a bit, while Orton is recovering. At the same time, all three players should have opportunities for success this week.</p>
<p><a style="font-weight: bold;" href="http://www.fantasy-info.com/search/label/LaDainian_Tomlinson">LaDainian Tomlinson</a><span style="font-weight: bold;"> vs <a href="http://www.fantasy-info.com/search/label/*Ravens">Ravens</a></span>- Tomlinson has missed practice both days this week. Right now he is wearing a protective boot on his injured ankle. Even if LT does play this week he is a poor bet for production against Baltimore.</p>
<p>If you have other options to start, I would bench Tomlinson this week.</p>
<p><a style="font-weight: bold;" href="http://www.fantasy-info.com/search/label/Pierre_Thomas">Pierre Thomas</a><span style="font-weight: bold;"> vs <a href="http://www.fantasy-info.com/search/label/*Eagles">@ Eagles</a></span>- Thomas has been practicing with a heavy knee brace and his status for this week is up in the air.</p>
<p>Thomas did say on his twitter that he is ready to go for this week. This is a good sign, but even if he does it will probably be in a limited role.</p>
<p><a style="font-weight: bold;" href="http://www.fantasy-info.com/search/label/Antonio_Bryant">Antonio Bryant</a><span style="font-weight: bold;"> vs <a href="http://www.fantasy-info.com/search/label/*Bills">@ Bills</a></span>- Bryant makes for a bad play this week as he is still recovering from knee surgery. Last week he pulled himself out of the game. Look for other options this week.</p>
<p><a style="font-weight: bold;" href="http://www.fantasy-info.com/search/label/Anquan_Boldin">Anquan Boldin</a><span style="font-weight: bold;"> vs <a href="http://www.fantasy-info.com/search/label/*Jaguars">@ Jaguars</a></span>- Boldin said his hamstring is much better than last week, but it is still not 100%. Unless you have a deep receiving core, I would suggest you keep Boldin in the lineup.</p>
<p><a style="font-weight: bold;" href="http://www.fantasy-info.com/search/label/TJ_Houshmandzadeh">T.J. Houshmandzadeh</a><span style="font-weight: bold;"> vs <a href="http://www.fantasy-info.com/search/label/*49ers">@ 49ers</a></span>- Housh is listed as probable this week with back and rib issues. He should be fine for the game as the Seahawks and 49ers fight for first place in the division.</p>
<p><a style="font-weight: bold;" href="http://www.fantasy-info.com/search/label/Brandon_Marshall">Brandon Marshall</a><span style="font-weight: bold;"> vs <a href="http://www.fantasy-info.com/search/label/*Browns">Browns</a></span>- Marshall is not listed on the injury report. This is a good sign, but he will still need some time to get into playing shape. If you have good depth you might consider benching him until he proves he&#8217;s back.</p>
<p><a style="font-weight: bold;" href="http://www.fantasy-info.com/search/label/Jeremy_Shockey">Jeremy Shockey</a><span style="font-weight: bold;"> vs <a href="http://www.fantasy-info.com/search/label/*Eagles">@ Eagles</a></span>- Shockey was limited on Thursday&#8217;s practice with an ankle issue. However, he is not expected to miss the game and should be a decent start this week.</p>
