It’s time to breakout out my 2010 power rankings for week one in the NFL. As every week, I will write about the top ten teams I see in the league and then list the rest from that point. While some tend to see power rankings as pointless before the season begins, I disagree.

The Jets and Giants opened up their new stadium on Monday Night football and the coaches let the starters play most of the first half. While the main players played in the first half it was all about Giants rookie receiver Victor Cruz in the second half. For more on this game listen to the [...]
In week one of the 2010 NFL preseason, we watched rookie’s like Ryan Mathews and offseason signings like Donovan McNabb play for the first time in a new uniform. While both of those players had good debut’s others like Brandon Marshall struggled.

College / 2010 NFL Draft: Joe McKnight picked up more work in USC’s offense after fellow running back Stafon Johnson had a life treating accident in the weight room. 2009 Fantasy Year In Review: Jerricho Cotchery was doomed for a drop in production after the departure of Brett Favre and the addition of a rookie starting quarterback. For the year Cotchery did still go over 800 yards but his touchdown total dropped down to three.

2009 Fantasy Year In Review: Braylon Edwards posted another disappointing season after he had so much success in 2007. No one can deny Edwards ability but his lack of concentration to catch the football and overall numbers have made many fantasy owners turn their back to this promising player.
