Let’s face it, writing articles is all well and good but most people (including us) just don’t want to sit down and read article after article to gain an edge. Sure, if you’re going to school to become a doctor you won’t have a choice but to hit the books and educate yourself.

Fortunately having success in fantasy football doesn’t take lots of thinking and studying to win regularly. All it takes is a little basic knowledge and staying informed on current events that can change your opinion of players fantasy value.

This is why the guys from fantasy football information have started a new audio chapter to the website, and it’s called fantasy philosophers. Here you can find our recent thoughts and quick ramblings on current events for fantasy football in an audio format.

We will also have our philosophical views available on our player and team pages while you’re scrolling through the site.

Fantasy Notes For October 2010:

Fantasy Philosophers Podcast’s For October, 2010
October 30th, 2010: Week 8 Injury Report
DeAngelo Williams should be a game time decision for fantasy owners. Even if Williams plays, look to Jonathan Stewart as a flex play start this week against the Rams. For more injury status news on about other fantasy players listen to the podcast.

October 23rd, 2010: Week 7 Injury Report
Despite practicing throughout the week, Darren McFadden is still a game time decision against the Broncos. For more injury status news on about other fantasy players listen to the podcast.

October 9th, 2010: Week 5 Injury Report – Saturday
Pierre Thomas will miss another game with an ankle injury. While Coach Sean Payton maintains that his ankle ailment isn’t of the high ankle variety, I can’t believe he would miss two games if it wasn’t. For more injury status news on about other fantasy players listen to the podcast.

October 7th, 2010: Week 5 Injury Report – Thursday
Darrelle Revis is expected back this week to face off against Randy Moss. Expect Brett Favre to throw Moss’s way and that means IDP fantasy owners should have Revis in the lineup. For more injury status news on about other fantasy players listen to the podcast.

October 6th, 2010: Week 5 Injury Report – Wednesday
Nick Barnett is likely done for the season and this can’t help the Packers defense going forward. Look to A.J. Hawk as a possible waiver wire pickup to replace Barnett in IDP leagues. For more injury status news on about other fantasy players listen to the podcast.

October 4th, 2010: Waiver Wire Week 5
October is in full swing, and it seems fantasy rosters continue to be blown apart by injuries and ineffective play. Those can’t miss stars are falling and fantasy owners are in need of quality help on the bench to get through the bye weeks. This week the Patriots, Dolphins, Steelers and Seahawks are all off.

October 1st, 2010: Week 4 Injury Report – Friday
Giants defensive end Mathias Kiwanuka has a neck problem that is expected to cost him the next 2 to 3 months of action. Feel free to drop him in IDP fantasy leagues, unless your in a keeper league. For more fantasy info listen to the podcast below.

October 1st, 2010: Week 4 Injury Report – Thursday
Steven Jackson is a full blown game time decision and won’t test his groin injury until a few hours before kickoff on Sunday. For more fantasy info listen to the podcast below.
