Fantasy Player Notes: Half way through the season, Vince Young got his starting job back from Kerry Collins. Upon his promotion to the playing field, Young went on to help his team roll off a bunch of wins. Look for Young to improve on his numbers in 2010, with a good receiving core around him.

Before you’re 2010 fantasy football draft begins, it’s always good to see the schedule of particular players you’re prospecting for your future team.

While there is no guaranteeing which teams will be strong and which teams will be weak in a given season, it’s still good to have an idea of the opponents your players will face.

Once the 2010 – 2011 season has started, we will find out which teams are for real and which teams are going to fold up. Who would have thought the Bengals would go undefeated in their division and the Titans would start out losing their first six games in 2009?

Throughout the season, you can always come back to our site and use our schedules for each team and player for your reference. Alternatively, you can also print out or download the schedule as well.

2009 Fantasy Year In Review: Last summer I thought Vince Young would win his starting job back at some point in the 2009 season. For all the success Kerry Collins had in 2008, I just didn’t think he could repeat the success he had.

By the Titans seventh game of the season Young did, in fact, get his job back and played like the old quarterback we used to know. In the ten games Young started, he had twelve total touchdowns and led his team back to respectability from their horrible beginning.

2010 NFL Fantasy Football Player Rankings: Young is only worth having in fantasy league that gives points for the yardage a quarterback can gain on the ground. Thankfully, many standard leagues award such points and Young needs that to be worth a roster spot. With Chris Johnson running the football the Titans aren’t going to go pass happy and allow Young to post a bunch of stats.

Young is a better NFL quarterback than he is a fantasy quarterback because of the style of play the Titans run. I do believe Young will be a good fantasy option later in his career like Steve McNair was once Eddie George was washed up. Still, for the next few seasons, look for Young as a decent backup but not a starter for your fantasy football squad.
