Before you’re 2010 fantasy football draft begins, it’s always good to see the schedule of particular players you’re prospecting for your future team.

While there is not guaranteeing which teams will be strong and which teams will be weak in a given season, it’s still good to have an idea of the opponents your players will face.

Once the 2010 – 2011 season has started, we will find out which teams are for real and which teams are going to fold up. Who would have thought the Bengals would go undefeated in their division and the Titans would start out losing their first six games in 2009?

Throughout the season, you can always come back to our site and use our schedules for each team and player for your reference. Alternatively, you can also print out or download the schedule as well.

2009 Fantasy Year In Review: Cedric Benson was thought to be a bust until he flashed a small sign of hope as the Bengals starting tailback to finish the 2008 season. By OTA’s of last year it was apparent that the Bengals were committed to making Benson the feature running back for the team and would have a chance to start every week.

Benson made the most of his opportunities as he carved up almost every 3 – 4 style defense he saw in his path. Maybe Benson’s final stamp on saving his career was when he carried the football 37 times for 189 yards and a touchdown against his old team the Bears.

For the season, Benson ran hard and always seemed to pick up an extra yard or two before he fell to the ground. It was this spirited effort that made Benson a favorite of mine as I had hoped to see this from him coming out of Texas.

2010 NFL Fantasy Football Player Rankings: Benson will still have to face the Steelers and Ravens twice a season, but he did rush for over 100 yards both times he faced the Ravens. It’s hard enough to run over 100 yards against that team once in a career let alone do it two times in one season. I will have to check the record books but that might be the first time any runner has ever done that since Ray Lewis has been with the team.

Expect all teams in division to be stronger this year, but as I noted earlier the Bengals tend to run well against 3 -4 style defenses. Seeing that all three teams in their division play that style, they are used to playing it regularly.

Benson should go over 1,200 yards rushing this season, and I fully expect his touchdown numbers to reach ten plus. Rudi Johnson was a solid runner against this division and for a good stretch, he pounded double digit touchdowns most years. If Johnson could do it than I believe a focused Benson can as well.

Look for the addition of Antonio Bryant to help Benson as defense will have to respect the passing game more. First round pick tight end Jermaine Gresham also should be eased into the offense and he is another receiving threat.
