Fantasy Player Notes: Donald Brown came into the 2009 fantasy season hot on Addai’s trail but the veteran pulled away and produced a solid year. Brown is clearly going to be the backup to start this season but with Addai’s injury history, Brown could be a valuable fantasy starter at any point.

Before you’re 2010 fantasy football draft begins, it’s always good to see the schedule of particular players you’re prospecting for your future team.

While there is no guaranteeing which teams will be strong and which teams will be weak in a given season, it’s still good to have an idea of the opponents your players will face.

Once the 2010 – 2011 season has started, we will find out which teams are for real and which teams are going to fold up. Who would have thought the Bengals would go undefeated in their division and the Titans would start out losing their first six games in 2009?

Throughout the season, you can always come back to our site and use our schedules for each team and player for your reference. Alternatively, you can also print out or download the schedule as well.

2009 Fantasy Year In Review: Donald Brown had a learning curve to grow through as he was clearly Joseph Addai’s backup in 2009. The first round draft pick did show flashes of his talent in the running game and passing game but that was about it in his first year.

For the season Brown only carried the football 78 times as he missed games due to injury.

2010 NFL Fantasy Football Player Rankings: Brown has shown a notable improvement in his comprehension of the Colts’ offense this offseason and it should payoff in more work this year. I expect the Colts to use Brown more this year as he should be ready to take over the starting job in 2011.

Addai is in his final year of his contract and the Colts are fully expected to let him walk this coming offseason. Because of this the team needs to see Brown take some big strides this year and it looks like he’s ready to do just that. Because Addai has had health issues throughout his career Brown makes for a decent stash away player in deep leagues.
