2009 Fantasy Year In Review: Felix Jones had his share of injury setbacks early in the season but at the end of the year he posted two fabulous games against the Eagles. In these contests, it was clear to see why Jones is the top running back on this team and why the Cowboys should be using him more.

With the kind of explosion Jones possesses, defenses have to pay attention to him at all times as he can hurt you in the running game and in the passing game.

2010 NFL Fantasy Football Player Rankings: Early in the offseason, rumors broke out that the team was expected to make Jones the starting tailback for this season. Those rumors have now grown into almost certainty as we are in OTA’s and Jones continues to get solid work.

Look for Marion Barber to come in as the No.2 running back and pound on defense like he did when he was in this role a few years ago. It’s easy to say that Barbers most productive seasons were in this role so having him play that way makes a lot of sense.

For Jones, he should see the majority of the touches in the offense but his injuries will always be a problem until he shows he can play a full season without a hitch. Look for Jones as a boarder line No.2 running back to a solid flex play this up coming season.

If you’re considering taking this ultra talent, consider strongly trying to draft Barber, with him as he would make for a good hand cuff player.
