While a firm understanding of 2012 average draft position (ADP) values won’t guarantee you a fantasy football championship, they are interesting to get a range of where you can find various players going to help you strategies for your fantasy football draft. While overlooking these trends, keep in mind your league rules in contrast to the mock draft rules that these ADP values are based on. Basically, these rankings will be for standard league scoring, PPR and IDP leagues.
We will hopefully have a range of ADP values through the summer from sites like Mock Draft Central, Fantasy Football Calculator, ESPN, Yahoo and My Fantasy League to help you get a range of various sites and where players are going in their drafts.
Remember, just because a player is listed high on ADP values doesn’t mean he’s necessarily a good pick for your squad. This is why we will have overrated and underrated rankings on our ADP values to give you our thinking of how the rankings shake out. Here’s wishing you a successful season in the 2012 fantasy football year.
