Top 100 IDP Player Rankings

Patriots linebacker Jerod Mayo bounced back in a big way after nagging injuries slowed him down in the 2009 season. While I still have Patrick Willis as the top dog for IDP fantasy football, Mayo is worthy of the top selection in all leagues, as his hard work ethic and top notch talent, will keep him atop the player rankings in IDP for a long time.
Most of the top ten listed below are linebackers, but I’ve selected three defensive linemen and a safety to add in the mix. While linemen tend to score less than linebackers, it’s easier to find a productive option at that position, later in your draft. Linemen on the other can frustrate even veteran IDP fantasy owners, and only a handful of options are trust-worthy through tough times.
Justin Tuck, Jerad Allen and Ndamukong Suh are all options that should post fabulous numbers. If you’re required to start a defensive tackle position, Suh holds even more value, especially in big play leagues as his ten sack from 2010, helped him blow away the competition at tackle.
To provide a balanced scoring system between tackle heavy leagues and big play leagues I have a kept solo tackles and assists at two and one but bumped up big play scoring by a point or two for each category. Make sure you check with your scoring rules before you draft to adjust for your league.
