If you looking for a strong team defense to hold year after year you don’t have to look farther than the Pittsburgh Steelers as the top group to own over the past two decades. The Steelers have a formula for winning and they know the type of players they need to fit the system they want to run on both sides of the football. All team defenses, have their down stretches and seasons, but you can always count on the Steelers to go no farther than one down year outside the top five fantasy defenses.

If you looking for an up and coming group that is worth jumping on at your draft, give the Kansas City Chiefs a strong look and then the St. Louis Rams. Both defenses have a nice young core of players and both teams are back on the rise as projected winning organizations of the future.
