IDP Fantasy Football Outlook: One of the top producing corners in IDP as a rookie, Alterraun Verner was beaten out by Jason McCourty for a starting job last year. With Cortland Finnegan gone, Verner is expected to start making him an interesting sleeper.
As the teams third corner, Verner still had 49 total tackles last year and over 100 as a rookie. View him as a late CB1 and a DB3 on your draft board. You might even find him cheaper than that because people may forget about him.

Summer of 2011: Fantasy Projections
Alterraun Verner broke out big in his rookie season as he posted over 100 tackles for the Titans. Of all the breakout cornerbacks from 2010, I look to Verner as the likely player to repeat his success as he lines up on the opposite side of Cortland Finnegan and opposing quarterbacks are sure to challenge Verner again.
I have not problem projecting Verner with at least 80 tackles again this season as he proved he could get it done in the world of IDP fantasy football, and with the Titans still rebuilding, Verner will be on the field often. Heck, Verner had over 100 tackles, and he wasn’t even a starter in the first few games of the season, so expect Verner to perform as a top ten corner for IDP this season.
