Da’Norris Searcy | Buffalo Bills | DB
2013 Experience: 3rd Season
Fantasy Football Outlook: We need to keep an eye on Searcy in our IDP redraft league drafts because he’s on the sleeper watch. Over the past few years from Donte Whitner to George Wilson the Bills strong safety position has been one of the better spots for IDP production in the league.
Searcy should be the next in line to start as he took valuable time away from Wilson as the season wore on last year and is ready to start.
I’m sure the new coaching staff won’t declare him the starter until at least a few weeks into camp to make it competitive for Searcy and others in there first year with the team. Still, Searcy’s completion isn’t likely to pose much of threat as they basically have unproven rookie’s behind him.
I like Searcy and while I’m not sure he will breakout for DB1 numbers; he should be a solid DB2 producer and a weekly starting option for us. You can probably get him as a DB3 or DB4 unless the coach come out raving about him in August and he receives enough internet and twitter hype to volt him up the IDP draft boards fast.

2012 IDP Fantasy Projection
We watched Da’Norris Searcy hold DB2 value when he filled in for George Wilson. Coming into the season, Wilson will be the starter but if for some reason Searcy should unseat him or just take over because of injury, he would be an instant IDP starter.
Buffalo’s strong safety position may not be as pleasurable as it once was because the front line of the defense is still good, but it will continue to be a friendly position. If you can stash Searcy late (especially if you have Wilson) that would be a very good idea.
