IDP Fantasy Football Outlook: Projecting a breakout from George Wilson last year was like taking candy from a baby. Wilson proved to us back in 2009 that he could thrive in a starting role, and with the departure of Donte Whitner, he was primed for a starting job.
Wilson went on to arguably be the best defensive back in IDP leagues, and unless his play drops off and is demoted, Wilson will continue to hold DB1 value. One of the top five defensive backs to target, I would have no problem if you viewed him as the first back off the board.

Summer of 2011: Fantasy Projections
With Donte Whitner out of the picture, George Wilson can get back to building on his success from the 2009 season. As we saw with Wilson’s production in 2009 and Whitner’s 140 tackles from a year ago, this is a perfect situation to be in for IDP success. Wilson should come at the highest as a No.2 defensive back, and he should have an opportunity to perform as a No.1 this season.
This is a great value pick for your team, and you need to seriously consider Wilson as at least your third defensive back to stash on your team. He should be worth starting on a weekly bases and should have a great year.
