Greg Toler | Arizona Cardinals | Defensive Back

2011 IDP Fantasy Football Outlook: Greg Toler could get an opportunity to start at the beginning of the season but that will only happen if Patrick Peterson isn’t ready to take over or if Richard Marshall suffers an injury. As we saw last year, Toler can be a viable IDP fantasy option, when given a chance to start, but he isn’t worth putting on your cheat sheet for draft day, as he would be better left on the waiver wire, as a likely slot corner this year.

June 2011

With Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie on the other side of the field, Greg Toler was targeted often by opposing quarterbacks in his first year as a starter. Toler would go on to be a productive waiver wire pickup as he nabbed 90 tackles on the season. While Toler had success in IDP last season, he doesn’t figure to be a relevant option this year as Arizona draft stud corner Patrick Peterson as a top ten pick in this years’ draft.

If an injury should happen to one of the Cardinals two starters, Toler would then be a worthy pickup off the waiver wire, but he’s best left out of consideration for your draft.
