Janoris Jenkins | St. Louis Rams | DB

2013 Experience: 2nd Season

IDP Fantasy Football Outlook: Jenkins had a terrific rookie season and while he fell in the NFL draft last spring because of character concerns, they didn’t seem to show up on the field. Playing opposite Cortland Finnegan, you know teams are going to test Jenkins and we know he’s going to make plays.

A threat to go to the house any time he touches the football a big play can happen at any time and with the Rams ability to pressure the quarterback (tied with Broncos last years with 52 sacks) Jenkins will have opportunities.

Look to Jenkins as a respectable CB1 option but is probably nothing more than a DB4 with upside because he’s not likely to reach over 90 tackles.

2012 IDP Fantasy Projection

With Cortland Finnegan on the opposite side of the field, you know Janoris Jenkins will be a target weekly, by opposing offenses. This could make Jenkins a CB1 this year, but you can likely land him at the very end of your draft, and better yet he will probably be on the waiver wire to start the year.

Keep an eye on his production early, especially if one of your corners loses his job, falls to injury or struggles to produce.
