2011 IDP Fantasy Football Outlook: I’m generally not much of a Kerry Rhodes fan as he can be up and down in his tackle numbers in any given season and can go through long droughts of failing to make plays. That said, Rhodes had a nice first year with the Cardinals but I’m not sure he’s going to repeat that success this season. Arizona should be getting a respectable quarterback like Kevin Kolb or Kyle Orton in free agency.
I do believe the Cardinals will be more effective on offense in the passing game and in the running game and that means less opportunities for Rhodes to have time on the field to rack up tackles. Last year the Cardinals were horrible on offense and the defense was left o the field too long not to mention Rhodes fell safety Adrian Wilson was playing through a bad groin injury.
While various websites may have Rhodes as a top twenty defensive back this season, I won’t have him higher than around number 35 this year.
