Michael Griffin | Defensive Backs

2011 IDP Fantasy Football Outlook: Despite being one of the worst safeties in terms of missed tackles, Michael Griffin posted over 100 on the season and was chosen as an alternate for the Pro Bowl. Look for Griffin to threaten for 100 tackles once again as the Titans might be even worse on offense this year than last year, and that means the defense will be on the field often.

Griffin will miss his share of tackles but his starting job should be secure and because the Titans are still a work in progress on the front line and in the linebacker core, their secondary players are left to pickup the garbage. Good for Griffin’s fantasy value but bad for the team overall. Look to Griffin as more of a respectable No.3 defensive back to add on the depth of your squad.
