2012 Experience: 2nd Season
IDP Fantasy Football Outlook: This will be an interesting season for Patrick Peterson. If we see Peterson build on his late-season success as a shutdown corner, his IDP value will decline fast. If he should have some struggles, he could end up being a respectable CB1 in your league.
He’s worth a gamble as a CB2 selection, but I wouldn’t look to him as an option your counting on throughout the season. Basically, that means have a backup plan, but taking a couple rookie corners and see if one breaks out like Dre Kirkpatrick in Cincinnati.

Summer of 2011: Fantasy Projections
Only time will tell how good Patrick Peterson will be in his career, but this should be one of his better years of his career for IDP fantasy football leagues. Assuming Peterson will win a starting job over Greg Toler, opposing quarterbacks will test the rookie as they avoid throwing in the direction of Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie.
Peterson projected to be one of the top corners in all of football in a few years, and when that happens his IDP fantasy value should go into the tank. For now he’s a skilled athlete who is a nice late round selection in IDP drafts, to speculate on and will probably at least a worthy waiver wire pickup once he gets a grasp of things.
